Lost my only copy of the Quran......

Assalam alikom all...if there is anyone out there that can help me i would be so grateful for 3 life times...about 3 years ago a friend had sent to me the Quran to my yahoo email as i was trying to copy it to my laptop i somehow deleted it...my heart jumped out of my body and i cant get it back...this was a special version of the Quran....it was sent to me called Quran 5---it is a wonderful version for me cause it is in arabic..english..and english-arabic---if anyone knows how i can get this again i would be sooooo grateful......i had had this since before i converted to Islam...after reading this and research on Islam...well it is a big reason i converted to be muslim....so if anyone knows how i can get the Quran in all 3 versions again please help me to retreive it...it means alot for me to have it in written arabic and in english-arabic and in english...it makes it so i can see it written -- read it in arabic and then see it in english so i know what i am saying and somewhat of the meaning that i am reading...i hope and pray someone out there can help...kinda feel lost now --- i had found comfort in reading this.....salam Fatimah

assalam alikom brotherzak....thankyou for your reply to me...it was a nice site and i like the part that you can hear it aloud and hear the words and pronuciation of it and i like listening to it also..very soothing and calming...but what i am more looking for is one i can download or someone send it to me...and the reasoning for all 3 versions is i am at home alot and i live in small city in egypt and this makes it nice for me to study and learn at home where i can concentrate and have what i learn sink deep within me with no distractions...thankyou again when i am online i can go and listen to it and that is very nice also thankyou salam fatimah

assalam alikom mohsin...thankyou---these are both wonderful sites...i like the Quran Explorer it is very nice site...but i have one problem though with these types of sites...i have very bad and very slow connection so this makes being on the internet and trying to learn and listen hard for me---but i will definately put it on to listen to when i am able to...wow if i was able to download this is would be perfect...thankyou again salam fatimah

Have you tried to check the deleted folder/trash folder/ trash can /recycle bin. inshallah you will find it.

Dear Fatimah,

Salaam.
I know what you are asking for.

I tried posting a Quran software setup developed by the divineIslam team. This Quran Software is hugely popular and I myself had used it when I was in university Student (had because my dear laptop recenty decided to retire-processor burn! And I am right now dependant on a hard copy version of the Nobel Quran) but its too big(146MB). You mentioned that your net connection speed is very slow hence no doubt it will take a lot of time to download. What I advice you is as follows::
1. deactivate all the hibernation/screensaver/powersaving setting in your PC
2. prior downloading the setup download/run a download manager-DAP/IDM which accelerates the download and also takes care of brokken links. IDM is my favourite, try it-its a free download.
3. set to download the setup at night by the download-manager application and do NOT surf/chat at that time, let the download manager utilise all the packets from the server/ISP

It took 5/6hrs for me to download the same. Set the download and go to sleep, sacrifice one night's surfing for the sake of enjoying the pleasure of reading the Glorious Quran.

If you come across any problem with downloading plz contact me...I may be a little late in replying (cant access forum sites frm office) but will definitely reply you once i get time.

That was my original intention, I am a web programmer.

But if you look at the details, it is way to complex to be edited via code.
Even though not the best method, I edit in Excel (available for download) and convert into images.
That way the full text is available in excel, as well as very good display on web.

Thank you for your input, feel free to send me a better method, corrections and additional work done in same manner to be integrated.

ps. I updated some suras (1, 87, 94, 99, 104, 105, 106) on the web.

If you go to www.freequran.org, you can order a new Qur'an, for free! Trust me, I've actually tried it and it works. It takes about a month for it to reach you, but this way you can InshaAllah use the online Qur'an untill this one reaches you. :)
