I am interested to start any type of business and have many ideas. Let me share with you this idea,

Since TTI members are from different parts of the world, different countries and each member finds some goods very expensive in his country; I think we can have good business with each other and create employment opportunities for each other.

For example; in my country iphone is expensive and most of people can't afford to buy it (920 $).

In another country it is cheaper and TTI member there can buy number of them and sell them to me for reasonable price.

I am sure there many things we can trade other than iphone mobiles but this is an example only.

Can you suggest another way for utilizing variety of TTI members.

hmmm.. that's a not a viable business model bro.

these days im also thinking of making a big business - by big i mean 500+ employees. The problem is that there a lot of haram things which are very popular eg, everything financial (insurance, loans, credit etc...), everything social (dating, harm relationship etc), most clothing. This leaves very few options for doing business.

I have a lot of cost effective ideas though
1) online affiliate marketing
2) internet marketing business
3) writing a best seller book. maybe something controversial for the masses so that i can sell a million copies and become rich instantly :D
4) establishing an islaamic store chain (with everything from siwak to abaya)
5) auto servicing although im not very knowledgeable about cars
6) marketing consultant maybe i should be doing an MBA
7) start a gym (the ROI seems very unfavorable)
8) Advertising agency because i kind of like direct response advertising

then there is stocks and forex both of which are borderline haram.

So any successful businessmen on tti with some tips for the rest of us?

What are your views regarding textile business?I think it's one of the most profitable business.Cheap labour availability plus large market.Although I have heard there is a lot of child labour exploitation involved.Though right now I am unaware of the financial requisites for starting a business, but a lot of business these days cannot be successful without the use of interest as people have told me.Which is haram and it's better to formulate halal ways in order for business to bloom. How about starting a forum or a consultation agency for utilization of halal ways in starting a business and consulting muslims all over the world about it and helping them grow?
When it comes to business I am pretty ignorant though the idea seem pretty good, hoping for some more responses inshaALLAH.

textile is a good sector but then you have to be careful because of the fashion that goes on nowadays is not halal. so you should avoid clothing and knitwear and look into a different product line, bedsheets, towels etc. alternatively, you can source mens wear (white label t shirts etc) or muslim wear only.

I'd imagine it would be relatively easy to import/drop-ship items into European countries. It is a headache in pakistan. You can source textile products from china and India. Bangladesh is also coming along nicely. If you import through a third party, they will take their cut so perhaps you should travel to the industrial zone like Shenzen in china and talk directly to the factory owners over there.

the major challenge of starting a business is capital. You need to develop a business plan and feasibility study for your business idea. you then take it to bank and apply for a loan. They will assess you business plan and give you a loan based on their assessment of the profitability of your business idea. The challenge hear is most bank loans will require you to pay interest.
Another option is to find a venture capitalist. However, most venture capitalists invest in new inventions and ideas which have potential to reap huge profits.

There is alot of demand for Muslim attire and Halaal products in Europe and South America. I recently came to know about drop shop concept its really a good concept for ones who don't have purchasing power to buy products and sell.

Somehow even I realized Textile is the best industry to make money as the demand for clothes is always there.

How do we sell stuff in European countries any idea?
