Asalaamu Aalikum,

I have not watched this in its entirety but I first heard about it from another sister who said that it was fantastic. It is a PBS documentary and what I have seen of it, it IS fantastic. It covers history and also Islam in America. Its about 2 hours long.

Walaikkum,

Thank you for sharing. I have seen this one too. I gave this to a non-muslim colleague to watch. He watched it. Then said, parts of it could have been made up by historians like Prophet SAW travelling to Jerusalem in one night etc. Well, haters gonna hate. He is a deist though he comes from a Hindu background. Most of things he talks relates to deism.
Sad thing is some people don't accept miracles until they see it. Their minds are already convinced that every religion is false, so no simple Dawa'h might help them. May Allah Guide him.

As salam alaikum,

It is truly the best video I have seen for the prophet. Is realized in a time when West had much better relationship with muslims, and it does show. Sort of nostalgia comes through. I simply love this particular video. Jazak Allahu khairan sister.

Asalaamu Alaikum,

I still have to watch the whole thing. I was flipping through TV channels when I noticed that this was on. I was able to watch the last of it. I am so happy that I found it on YouTube....

I don't recognize you so please allow me to welcome you to TTI...I, as you will quickly find out, am Sister Jen...the non-Muslim... :) No, I'm not here (at TTI) to revert, just to learn. I hope you stick around and participate more often

Thank you for the warm wellcome, is only recently I joined, even I know the forum long before. The video is a good one especially for you, that are here to learn. From learning there is always a benefit. The reversion is between you and Allah only. I have read some of your posts and I do enjoy them. Wish for a good stay in the forum, and that we benefit from each other at most. Nice having you here :hijabi:
