Apologies for the late reply. I'm afraid I have no idea if he has any online classes or visits the states, I've never come across him so I've no idea!
    Wa-alaykum-us-Salaam,

Jazaka'Allaahu Khayr for the offer although this khutbah was at my Masjid a couple of weeks ago. :)

I have no recording of it, just what I remembered and that small portion stuck out.
    Assalaamu alaykum brother,

I hope you are doing well. Ramadan Mubarak to you and your family. And InshaAllaah remember me in your duas.

    waalaykum salaam
away from madina-an islamic state.it's better to stay together and correct them then to insult them and throw them away....that's very unislamic in my opnion...

well i guess this is where our opnions differ.and it's normal human thing as the ashab use to have different opnions on things too:)so inshallah no hot feeling.i asked for those referances to aviod the video and have a discussion with the people-If they realise this sooner it's better.if they want to say somthing i want to hear them out:)!!

also akhi tipusultan made i thread.may be i'll get my answers there-i'll be the silent audience inshallah.i can see that this news has disturbed him pretty much as well.it's really shocking to kno all this because his general impression is totally opposite.so it's really hard to decide what's right about him*sigh*

jazakallah khairan again for you time and patience:)

    have a great ramadhan!!
    :salam2:wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu....

hehehe bhai honestly i vote for that tahir guy to be sent to the nearest circus.he'll be one of the jesters who gets shoe shower everyday!!

But still if i were to give islah lecture to his students i would use a different tone so they won't get angry or offended and listen to what i have to offer.they accept or not, is not my business:)

i don't kno where did this jumhoriaat came from.If it was in the lecture then i can't comment coz i never listened past the tahir guys scolding much.anways i think i get what you mean.i just wanted to be packed and prepared.i like to give ppl a chance and the benefit of doubt.Be it anyone.coz i kno i need some too sometimes and my brothers and sisters surely deserve one.

akhi ppl of shirk and kufr think they are "correct".giving them due respect and having good neighbourly relations is their right as a human.the prophet:saw:never shooooed every mushrik
    :wasalam:wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu....

i knew you'll say that.i don't find him offensive because he tells the truth but because of the way he tells it.i tried listening to him with an open mind and a clear heart but his way of talking repells me so i can hardly concerntrate on whether what he's saying is true or not.

emotions may be necessary but i doubt anyone who already disagrees with him would lend him an ear.i mean look how he tries to explain about tahir ul qaadri.that guys a qeedha is as deviated as could be i kno that but supposing someone revers him and then listens to this sheikh where he is saying:"he(tahir ul qaadri) loves the prophet:saw:so on attending his grave the prophet:saw:should extend his hand to shake tahir ul qaadri's hand.this is the kind of aqeedah tahir ul Qaadri has".this is mockery.that person would think he's jealous of the tahir guy and turn his back on truth.
i can see what he's trying to convey by those hard, harsh words but a scholar should not talk this lame about the prophet:saw:even if he's mocking.i mean i find it very insulting if someone say:rasullah Qabar sy niqal kr haath milain or somthing similar.

Not casually akhi but i'm you telling this guy has the wrong method.i heard one of his lectures on beard akhi ansari had sent me to answer my Q.and i ended up so much offended.i send him a red pepper PM!!!.he then made a thread and that lecture was great.explain everything the sheikh had said but in a way that i was smiling ear to ear.and i agreed with every word he said.

i was asking for refrences because i want to forward it to the jamaat members first chance i get(not this lecture, they will refuse it even if it's true.i'm sure about that)coz they are very nice muslims mashallah and they probably don't kno about this.
and i asked about the prophets, not because i doubt akhi mabsoot but because it's lame to charge someone with something without havng proofs.if i want to discuss this with them i'd rahter be prepared.i'm asking Qs to kno more not to defend anybody or challenge what others say.it's not like the sheikh in the vid or Maududi himself are going to stand up for me on the day of judgement,so i don't like to associate myself with anyone.just ask and see what's the truth inshallah.

akhi i haven't read his books apart from some part of the tafheem which i gave up because i liked tafseer ibn kathir better.it's Maududi himself that i like for his steadfastness and struggles he went through.anyways personal prefferances.this has nothing to do with what i learn and follow.

if you kno about those books i'll be pleased to have referances.

    jazakallah khairan for your time.

    :wasalam:wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu...
    :salam2:wa rahamtullahi wa barakatuhu...

hope you are good akhi and you ramadhan is coming along great.

in that post by sister Ni'mah akhi gernada and akhi mabsoot said stuff about Maududi telling lies about prophet dawd, musa alehsalam etc.bhai i want to know if you have knowlegde in which books of maududi is this stuff mentoined.i want to reffer this to someone who can get me answers from the members of the jammat.i'm curious about this as it's totally new to me.people hate him here but it's mostly the sufis and the kind.the members of the jamat are all in all what you guys call salafi.they are good people from what i have seen....

can you just provide referances and not another vid from that sheikh.sorry but i find his style very offensive.

    jazakallah khairan.

    ramadhan mubarak
    Wa`alaykum us-salaam warahmatullaah

wafeeka baarak. I think thareq2005's reply was good and answers your question. Allaah knows best.
    Asalaam alikum :D

wa alaykum salam, i'm very sorry brother I have not logged in TTI in a while so I did not recieve your message, please don't think I ignored you.
Anyways akhi, I am farsi speaking but I am not fluent, nor do I know how to read/write in farsi .. Basically I only understand, and can speak street slang farsi lol :)
If you still need any help I will try my best to help with what I can... Allahu akbar
    :salam2:

Akhi, I don't know of almost anyone who has ever listened to lectures on youtube and -not- come across sister Shaykha at some point lol mashaAllaah, may Allaah reward her and bless her for her hard work. I'm sure quite a few were shocked when her acct was suspended, although now it seems re-instated alhamdulillah.

I asked only because my family and I were able to go up to Chicago this past week when he was there alhamdulillah, and attended some of his lectures which were on the same topic. And when I started listening to the audio here it did seem like his voice so I wished to inform you.

Alhamdulillah that it was clarified. And I've made similar and probably worse mistakes in the past so it's quite normal!

JazaakAllaah khayr for the website, I recently heard about it as well but hadn't gotten the time to look into it. Apparently the Shaykh gives a live lecture every Sunday, but I've never attended thus far.
    Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah

Akhi ... I think you have a slight error in your post here: http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70923

I believe his name is "Ibrahim Zidan" ... and mashaAllaah it's interesting you posted that lecture, it was from his recent trip to Chicago right?

Anyways barakAllaahu feek .. I didn't want to change it myself without your notice.

    wasalam
    Saalam alaikum wa rahamtu-llah

    Jazak Allah khair ya akhi..
I've read that.....I didnt know that.....thank you very much for the info and I'm changing the thread....inshaa'Allah

thanx for understanding me, actually I was going through tafseer and got that narrated by Ibn katheer....so i thought I should share....

may Allah forgive me and save us from these kind of misconception
    wa alaikum assalam
