The jews(just like muslims) follow the divine laws Alaah(swt) has given for for food and eating.
Kashrut ( Hebrew: כַּשְרוּת‎) refers to Jewish dietary laws. Food in accord with halakha (Jewish law) is termed kosher in English, from the Hebrew term kashér, meaning "fit" (in this context, fit for consumption by Jews according to traditional Jewish law)

halaal (حلال,) is an Arabic term meaning "permissible"

both kashrut(kosher) and Halaal mean the same things.
you will also find many other similar islamic-judeo terms
ex:in Islam the laws are called Sharia, In Judaism they are known as Halakha
