i throught i would ask about the hijab.


I do wear the hijab because i feel it is better for as Allah told us to cover up.
I feel better to do so, as Allah knows best.


Who wears the hijab here and if not are you considing wearing it....


another question is

How do you wear hijab correctly as im told there are wrong and right ways of wearing it?

I dont wear hijab:shymuslima1: i have tried but struggle with it soooo much. My family are not keen on the idea of me being muslim and if i wore the hijab in fromt of them they wouldnt know what to do. InshAllah i would like to start wearing it but for now i think i will wait until the time is right.

Alhamdula I wear the hijab although I dont think I am one of the best hijabis around.
The reason why I wore the hijab is simple: Because it is not for a believer to have an option in a matter which Allah sw and His Prophet declare.
That's one, two: When the verses were revealed concerning hijab, the female sahabis froze, they did not want to take a single step knowing they were disobey Allah sw (of course they wouldn't be disobeying Allah sw as they were caught out in the markets when those verses were revealed but subhanallah, just look at their eman!).
Three: I want to be recognised as a Muslim because I am proud of Islam,
Four: I understand the wisdom behind wearing the hijab,
Five, six, seven....the list will go on and one but those were the main reasons why I wore the hijab. Besides we don't know when we die, so may as well die pleasing Allah sw.
What are those who dont wear it putting it of for? Plz list the reasons as I listed the reasons for wearing it. Those who claim its too difficult, well how would you like it if Allah sw put off answering you prayers because "its too difficult".
Those who claim may family doesn't understand...who is more important for pleasing, Allah sw or your family? At the end of the day, your family will leave you but your good deeds will escort you all the way.
Those who claim it's too hot, well guess what, hell fire is hotter,
Those who claim they will wear it after getting married, well know that the man who marries you coz you dont wear the hijab is no man, rather a jinn in disguise.
The list goes on and on...
The final decision rests with you for you are the only one who will have to answer for it.

I wear hijab....not only because it is prescribed but because I honestly think it is cute....and its also a spiritual and physical form of remembering allah and and an inspiration to practice islam sincerely.

Its intersting that u ask this...the other day a classmate of mine (in college) asked me , who are the women who say they are muslim and dont wear the scarf?....and it was a little hard for me to explain that there is no compulsion about hijab and that some women just dont want to (which is fine). Personally, i dont find wearing hijab to be so scary as some people think it is.

right and wrong ways of wearing hijab, astagfirlah, I am not going to even comment on that......intention is most important

Refusin to wear the hijab is not "fine", it's wrong, it's going against Allah sw laws, it's not sunnah to wear it rather it's fard! Obligatory!

I am afraid sometimes intention is not enough! Some may say, oh I will pray, my heart is clean, my intentions are there but the time is not right...then they die in some freak accident, you tell me, will their intentions save them? And Allah sw knows best.

I don't wear hijab, I've worn it before and I loved it, but my family opposed it, so I haven't worn it in a while, but I do want to wear Hijab as Allah (SWT) wills inshallah. It's very beautiful and I feel so happy wearing hijab lol. Masha'Allah.

May Allah (SWT) Bless us all and continue to guide us, ameen!

hamdulillah i wear hijab full time since august 2007 so like over 6 months since then and i feel good, hamdulillah! i had no problems cuse of it...and inshallah i will never stop wearing it :tti_sister:i start suddenly wear it after 7 months following my shahada despite i was saying tht i will not put such things on my head...but Allah subhana wa ta'ala wanted something else :hijabi:

wa aleykum salaam wa rahmatu wa barakatu ukhti...i think it is not so important wht ppl feel abt u wearing the hijab, and if they have a problem with it then it is their problem and they must solve it...for example, if christians wear cross sign on necklace then it is their businness and if u have problem with it than it is ur problem not their...but i assure u tht just first days might be difficil 4 u cuse u will feel strange and will remark ppl looking strange at u or with bad eyes and also might be hard 4 u the accustom to put the hijab each time u go out...but those r minor problems facing u in the first days after starting to wear hijab...after a while ppl accustom with ur new 'look' and also u r not disturbed nor pay attention to ppl with 'closed minds' who oppose to ur RIGHT...now i think tht wud be strange 4 ppl to see me without my hijab:hearts:

jazaks sister! I wanna wear hijab so much, I just need to be in the right intention...you know, be confident about it, do it for Allah (alone) inshallah! I wear it before...my family took them from, so now I'm older and I want to do it inshallah. :hearts:

but they cannot prevent u frm ur RIGHT sis...hamdulillah i had no problems with my family, mum support me and dad does not involve in 'girly' problems...so i wear it cuse i want it and nobody can stop me to dress as i wish...it is better to cover urself then wearing so small skirts and more like nowadays girls...i think parents should be happy cuse we r decent...

I wish I could say the same about my mom my family, it's like they want me to dress like girls nowadays, I don't like it, I really don't so I want to wear hijab inshallah.

I hope they don't give me a hard time because of hijab. It's different, but I love it.
