Salaam - Hindu Revert from UK

Salaam I am a hindu revert sister from the UK for approx 7 years allhumduillah.

Have not told my family and know that they will not accept this decision.

How many other hindu reverts are out there? Maybe we should start a networking group where we can discuss the obstacles that will arise...

The difficulties that come from reverting and how to find suitable marriage spouses.

My story is nothing exciting - just from a friend asking me if I would become muslim started to bring up questions in my head. Why was I always told to stay away from muslims, what was it - so I read and probed into the question and read.

Allhumduillah I took my shahada on my birthday!

Inshallah now need to think of telling the family and settling down inshallah.

Once upon a time, we had bowed down to the man made idols, danced for human made rituals, found emotional spirituality for false beliefs.. etc..

Alhamdulillah, now muslims in India are third most highest population in Asia..

Very nice to read ur request. I am also in same condition that i also revrt from Hindu to Muslim 2 years ago & now thinking about how to convince my parents. I am totaly appriciate with ur questions regarding spouse & family-permission. I will definately pray for u bcause i can understand ur problem very well.
