No God but Allah
O Allah, help me to remember You, to giv You thanks and to perform Your worship in the best of ways.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

There is nothing hindering people to seek the mercy of Allah. All they have to do is to seek it directly from Allah without mediation or intercession except heading to Him in obedience, hope, confidence and submission.

Sayyid Qutb

In the Shade of the Qur’an

“I never talked with someone but sincerely wished that Allah guard him, protect him from sin and misdeed, and guide him; and I never debated with someone but sincerely wished that we would come upon truth, regardless of whether he or I should be the one to think of it first.”
Imaam Ash-Shaafi`i

The divine decree related to the believer is always a bounty, even if it is in the form of withholding (something that is desired), and it is a blessing, even if it appears to be a trial, and an affliction that has befallen him is in reality a cure, even though it appears to be a disease!”
(Imam Ibn al-Qayyim)

Abu Mas’ud ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amr al-Ansari al-Badri reported that the Messenger of Allah, [peace be upon him], said: “Among the things that people have found from the words of the previous prophets was: ‘If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.’”

Wa iyakom, dear:)

The wondrous secret behind the power and vitality of expression is not in the glamour of words or the rhythm in the music of phrases. Rather, it lies in the power of faith in the inherent meaning of words and what lies behind the meaning; it is in that decisive insistence to transform the written word into live-action and the realized meaning into tangible reality.

Sayyed Qutb

Al-Hassan al-Basry said, “I have approached folks with no flaws, but when they paid lip service to people’s flaws, Allah (SWT) have made flaws for them. And I have met others with flaws, but when they refrained from talking about people’s flaws, Allah (SWT) covered up their faults.

Translated by: Amany Elmorshidy

Al-Hassan Ibn Ali said, “Those who were before you (the companions of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH]) realized the Qur’an as their Lord’s messages and therefore would contemplate them at night and pursue them during the day.

Oppression creates a fragile regime. It may appear powerful and splendid before the eye, but in fact, it is extremely weak. Were this fact to be grasped by the oppressed, they would topple the dictatorship in a much shorter time than they have ever expected.

Dr. Raghib el-Sergany

It is reported that a man came to ‘Abdullâh Ibn Mas’ûd (may Allâh be pleased with him) and asked, “Teach me some comprehensive and beneficial words.” He replied, “Worship Allâh and do not associate any partners with Him, and be with the Qur’ân wherever it is. And whoever comes to you with some truth – whether he is young or old, even if he is hated by you – then accept [that truth]. And whoever comes lying to you – even if he is beloved and close – then reject it from him.”

Live as long as you will, for verily you must die. Love whoever you wish, for one day you shall taste its separation, and do what you will, you will be rewarded accordingly.

There are many slogans shouting from here and there emitting from confused hearts and rising from tired throats; they shout for a savior and search for a rescuer. People imagine specific features and characteristics that should be found in their prospective savior. Those specific features can never apply on anyone except on this religion (Islam.)!

It was said to al-Hassan, “O Abu-Sai’ed, which one will be screaming the most on the Day of Judgment?” He replied, “A man whom Allah (SWT) provided for him a grace, but he used it to disobey Allah!”

He who keeps knocking at a door is most likely to get the door opened for him, so keep knocking at the doors of the heavens.
Ibnul-Qayyem

No God but Allah
When the conflict between truth and falsehood rages on until it reaches its peak and each side does its best to achieve victory, there is a critical hour when falsehood reaches its utmost power while truth suffers its hardest ordeal. In such hard time, steadfastness is a turning point; hence a decisive test of the believers’ faith starts. If they hold firmly on their faith, then everything will change to their advantage. And the truth starts its way upward while falsehood starts its way downward, and the expected end is stated in the name of Allah.
