Egypt conflict-What people should remember!

Yes! I love Allah!
A Muslim does not fight and is ready to die so someone can have a job in this world, we only fight in the name of Allah not of a country that doesn’t exist.

People should not be led astray by people who say they are doing the right thing, for example;-

1. There is no Islamic law to punish and go against someone if they don’t give you a job!
2. There is no Islamic law to punish and go against someone if they don’t give the poor their due!

All of the above Allah punishes himself, whether in this world or the next, or both, or only the next.

People are listening to the West and only care about their life and comforts of this world. So they only seek to revolt against their leaders if they don’t have jobs, etc-but this is incorrect in Islam. We only go against people if they are calling themselves Muslims, but clearly leading people astray. I do not support the movement AS people are not going against Hosni Mubarak for not leading people correctly ie how many times does he tell people to worship the one God, remember the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell? It is the job of every leader to do this-even Allah said that Pharaoh was wrong for leading his people astray-Allah did NOT to Prophet Moses peace be upon him that you need to get rid of Pharaoh and then take the advantage and get what you want from the people-no the message is for all.

So people in Egypt are not going against Hosni Mubarak because he is not being a good Muslim (closing borders to the Palestinians etc) but because he is not giving them what they want for the life of this world. There are of course Muslims who dislike Hosni Mubarak for being evil-but as a Muslim we accept that people are being tested and people are choosing their side ie what do they want the life of the next world or the this one? It is not a Muslim’s job to take over a nation with a majority of people who want the life of this world and give them what they want. There are a lot of people quoting Muslim state-I urge people to read the story of the companions and how they lived, the emphasis was to talk and tell people to save themselves from the fires of Hell and pay the poor due-you don’t build a Muslim state first and then get people to accept Islamic laws before they accept Islam. There is no basis in their approach as there is no compulsion in Islam. So why didn’t they fight against the corrupted 30 years ago???

People did not stand by Prophet Jesus peace be upon him and let him be crucified (but he did not die), there were those that refused to fight and asked Prophet Moses peace be upon him and God to fight for them-and then they were astray, and so Allah is not going to help people who refuse to stand for Islam. People could argue that the reasons why Islam is successful is because we listened and stood by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. We do not make any distinctions between the Prophets as stated in the Quran, but we talk of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him as we have benefited from his teachings.

Allah has said there are those that say they believe in Allah and the last day but they believe not. Now if I was to say to an Egyptian;-

The UK for example after all the time they received and natural disasters they have witnessed and Islam they are rejecting are saying they want to recover and build a prosperous nation-would an Egyptian find this acceptable??? They are not continuing and neither is “Egypt”. The people of Aad and Thamud were destroyed and so will these countries that you see today, the reason why they don’t know what to do, as there isn’t anything else to do! Typical evil only repeat themselves playing politics-but look it no longer fits -and they are trying to wrap their heads around what to do-but they cannot interfere with Allah providing a fair test to the people of Egypt. Allah be praised!

If I was living in Egypt, they are aware that there was a war on so called terror, natural disasters, and they dare to talk about living in this world?? Muslims are content and grateful to what they have, and obviously they have got by so far-how many of them are dying of starvation?? Even still they will see on the Day of Judgement that they were in error complaining about not having much in this world when it is an huge opportunity to earn so much by being content to Allah, and earning so much in the next world.

In Islam we remain Muslims even when;-

-we are poor,
-we are suffering through so much,
-even in the month of Ramadan, people are showing to Allah that they are being obedient to Allah and remaining Muslims without food as what is dear to have Allah pleased with them. Allah has made reference to people who when their ship was in a storm, they prayed to Allah to be saved, but when they were and came to shore, they thought not of Allah.

There are people praying after their Friday prayers and then looking for the life of this world!

Egyptians should think about what for example all those Egyptians died the last few days are thinking of their cause-those Egyptians who have died;-

1. Don’t care about Egypt,
2. See how terrible it is after all that has happened in this world, people think less of the Day of Judgement, after all the natural disasters.
3. If you died you would only say it is acceptable if a person is going against someone in this world for being evil. Not to go against someone because you couldn’t live here how you want to live. Ie no dead person would accept the reasons for the battle of Badr, but no dead Egyptian would accept there cause as a good one.

Considering were we are in this world, I think its good for them to have their wake up call, Allah allows evil people to do what they want in this world and then they see that their wealth and their children will not save them from the fires of Hell. For the people who are protesting for the life of this world, it is good that Allah has allowed them to confront frankly their own desires in this world and they will come to know that there is NO future for Egypt, it is of cause a farce that the US says they are going to build a prosperous nation-when they accept homosexuality, reject Islam, it like people saying when they reject Prophet Noah peace be upon him, we reject your message we are going to live here for the life of this world-frankly that is preposterous. Even the people at the time of Prophet Lut peace be upon him were destroyed. You don’t just reject Islam and then say that things will be the same. Obviously Egypt needed a wake up call, at least in Ireland they are already saying it wouldn’t make a difference who was in charge as it will not improve Ireland in the foreseeable future, etc. At least people are getting and are saying that life is not better for the children -a reversible when it used to be that parents thought that things would get better for them.

Allah does NOT care about Egypt, frankly he is keeping you alive, to give you time to make the best choices for you in this world as it is your only opportunity to make it to Paradise! Which is were you worship Allah, remember the Day of Judgement and in Paradise and Hell. Which is obviously what the Egyptians need to do, and not look for the life of this world. It is not about copying and want what others have in this world-it has already been mentioned not to look at what others have in this world. We live here, pay our bills etc, but we don’t focus on what we get in this world but look towards the next-which if they even read about the time of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, people can see how far they have changed their agendas on what they want. They talk as like the west-saying to others you wouldn’t ask us to give up on finding food etc, as you have food-we are not asking people not to work, and work for food-but we are content and grateful for whatsoever Allah has provided us with, but we are not going to go further, ie if you had cucumbers, but you couldn’t afford tomatoes-then you cannot complain! You always have to be grateful for what Allah has provided.

Remember Allah and the Day of Judgement much and do NOT be led astray by people who claim to stand for good, when they only look for this life of this world. We Muslim do not fight for people who want the life of this world, our causes are not the same. Do not get involved, let people see for themselves that Egypt will not get better and they better be strong and steadfast in Islam as things are only going to get worse when people go through the Major signs of the Day of Judgement! So this is an opportunity to pray to Allah and worship him in peace and do NOT get involved with this, as only join the Mahdi and the Prophet Jesus peace be upon him when he arrives back-so at least you know that you are rightly guided and not follow people who care for the life of this world (even other countries such as when the in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia-why did not the leaders say we will be one nation united if they are so serious about Muslim Ummah?? There is not going to be an Islamic state see the “Major signs of the Day of Judgement” thread. Guard yourselves from those that lead other people astray. I will leave this thread for people to guard themselves from a day were no doubt they would not want to be associated with people who look for the life of this world.

This is a follow up from “Collapse of these countries”, “Major signs of the Day of Judgement”, “Not our Goal”, “Murder” threads.

:salam2:Altough some of the points you made are balanced and truthful, you need to revise your text to find a more acceptable approach both to human mind , Islamic principles and less insulting concepts towards the Egyptian people.Furthermore, saying that there is no Muslim law for stealing others property and belongings, for bribery and corruption for, harassing, torturing , killing without haqq(people got kidnapped and killed unjustly trough torture in some jails of Egypt and many other "Islamic" countries many sisters have being humiliated and raped by policemen in Tunisia aswell just for wearing the hijab !) and committing treason against Muslims is another insult to Rasulullah himself ,Umar ibn al khattab and the first generations of Islam. This is a very ascetic analysis there. Those who have being oppressed have every right islamically to complain and pray to Allah swt in order to help them change things given the fact that they are the majority in their own country subhnallah!(how can you say that the people are praying for the wrong cause). This is not only about jobs and 'benefits of this world'(and by the way education and jobs are a way for people to have a social life, to marry, build a family, provide for your parents when they get old , help your siblings and close relatives , pay your zakat, have a healthy Islamic life away from fitna...etc but that's another subject for now).Am afraid you are not really aware of the situation on the ground here. You would surely come to a different exegesis if you had one of your close relatives being sexually mutilated by the police right at this moment somewhere in the prisons of Egypt after being arrested unjustly ,God forbid bu think about it...Islam is about preserving social cohesion and human dignity, about helping the poor and standing for the oppressed,it's about establishing justice and truth on earth so that you can see it's fruits in heaven without action it becomes the frame of a neoplatonic abstract philosophy that calls for contemplation.Following your logic and as an imperative consequence you can't help it...the Palestinians who fight for their dignity and freedom are fighting for the life of this world only ,and every shaheed that does fight to protect his hurma and belongings, his women and children is a Mushrik for not turning the other cheek ,by having made his greed his own god to die for besides Allah swt and the life of this world his heaven!.This is the colonizers mentality combined with a profound lack of confidence and trust in Allah swt, history is full of it dear sister. The fact that we alienate ourselves from"humanistic" principles like justice and freedom because we perceive them to be western concepts which they obviously are not. There is a double alienation danger here am afraid in rejecting our own concepts because we think they come from the other and because we think we are seeing ourselves through the eyes of the other or copying them.Al Maarouf (the good)literally'That which is known"is present more or less in all societies, philosophies and endeavors of human thought. When one converts to Islam he comes back to his nature ,his original faith, he doesn't create ex nihilo these concepts,we are getting very close to the root ideology of atheism on the origins of morality for example if we adopt such ideas that disqualify every potential good action (and am not saying idea on purpose here) because it comes from non Muslim. This way of thinking is Shirk and automatically leads to Attitudes of Shirk. So the revert who might have been a Jew or An atheist comes back to what was already there,he didn't create this fitra,he remembers the promise his soul gave in heaven with something that is already there. When Allah swt assembled our souls in heaven and ask us to bear witness, this verse alone should challenge the arguments of all those who are teaching you these things (and there are others )inshallah:

Wa Izz Akhazaa Rabbuka Mim Bani Adama Min Zahuurihim Zurriyyatahum Wa Ash-Hadahum Alaa Anfusihim Alastu Birabbikum, Qaloo Balaa Shahidna An Taqooloo Yawmal Qiyawmati Inna Kunna Aan Hazaa Ghafileena

(Quranic Surah 7:172)

Translation: “AND WHENEVER thy Sustainer brought forth their offspring from the loins of the children of Adam, He [thus] called upon them to bear witness about themselves: “Am I not your Sustainer?” – to which they answered: “Yea, indeed, we do bear witness thereto!” [Of this We remind you,] lest you say on the Day of Resurrection, “Verily, we were unaware of this”.

In other words and very simply,if the streets are clean in some street in Munich or Geneva and the oppressed is guaranteed to be protected by the rule of law and justice ,it shouldn't make these concepts of cleanness and justice non Islamic to us just because we think we are copying the kuffar by holding them dear to our hearts. We know justice and dignity from Allah swt as he is the creator of all who taught us the names of all things. These are not British,French or German Ideas...

Ps.The word "Insaan"Aka Human being in Arabic comes from the same root of the verb Nasiya which mean to forget!so Insaan etymologically means "he who forgets".May Allah swt make us of those who remember and give us our light .Ameen

be well in the care of Allah swt ,got to wake up early tomorrow

The problems with the Egyptian people are genuine but the biggest problem with the Egypt is that there is no Islamic Shariah there...So i dont understand one thing why arent Egyptians demanding that also because our religion is our first priority then come the materialistic things of this world...Otherwise even if Egyptian people succeed in getting their demands fulfilled without the Islam then they wont be satisfied with any government for man made law is always corrupt...So lets pray That Allah guides Egyptian people and their revolution becomes a means for establishing the Islamic Shariah in Egypt...

Assalaam walaikum,

The role of the imam in Islam is to make sure that the individual does pay zakat. If the person does not make pay Zakat the imam may approach the person and ask.

Although there is no punishment as you say about giving a job..you are wrong..there is much corruption and nepotism in Egypt. This must be righted.

Still, don't you all think that this protest are too much. Whether the government side or the protester side, they both had done too much damage to the country and not trying to restrain themselves. Destroying property, break into houses, fighting each other(police, soldier, citizen). This all had resulted the country in total chaos where some men took advantage in this situation by stealing, killing, rape. The innocent always be the one that are hurt most.
Although I am outsider and may not understands the whole situation of the country, but it is too much to hear sadden news about victims in that conflicts.

this post tells me why salafis are thought to be Govt agents. infact it almost confirms the same to me.

dear brother/ sister-- how can you side with zulm oppression . in islam we are not allowed to oppress animals and this is egypt regime of mubarak oppressing muslims - yes muslims of not just egypt but palestine.
it shocks me that either we are being naive feel good types or are extremely ignorant of the role of the present govt as an agent of israel/USA.

saying that this regime will be replaced by another secular regime and using that as an excuse to discredit the people of egypt's efforts is not just unfair to them but beyond common sense -akal e saleem.

for the sake of Allah let them try and keep off!

and wht shall we get by letting our people die of hunger.

if your neighbour is hungry and you sleep belly full....you sure know this hadith.

How ?

:wasalam:
because they r always defending their respective govt against criticism siding with the zalimun and coming up with lame excuses like this.what has the govt of egypt done for palestine except blockading them.what has saudi ,jordon, bahrain, uae, done are these not the agents of america.

u have to be terribly hard hearted to say that they are not.

why defend them??

does not this regime throttle attempts of muslims to make it islamic country.and how can we judge for wht niyah people are protesting---by basing our views on western media.

and strangely wikipedia tells me that salafi movement was started by freemasons.

Some say the popularity of Salafism among young men has resulted in a phenomenon called "Salafi Burnout," as is claimed by British Abdal Hakim Murad. His view is that young men undergoing "Salafi burnout" begin with an initial period of militant or extremist enthusiasm for Islam, followed by a period of gradual decrease in interest, ending with the former activists becoming only minimally observant of Islamic customs and rituals.

n the opinion of certain contemporary historians, the use of the world Salafi to describe a revival movement within Islam started in Egypt in the mid 19th century among intellectuals at al-Azhar University, the preeminent center of Islamic learning, located in Cairo. Prominent among them were Muhammad Abduh (1849–1905), Jamal-al-Din Afghani (1839–1897) and Rashid Rida (1865–1935).[27][28][29][30]
These early reformers recognized the need for an Islamic revival, noticing the changing fortunes in the Islamic world following the Enlightenment in Europe. Al-Afghani was a political activist, whereas Abduh, an educator, and head of Egypt's religious law courts, sought gradual social reform and legal reform "to make sharia relevant to modern problems."
Abduh argued that the early generations of Muslims (the salaf al-salihin, hence the name Salafiyya, which was self-ascribed to Abduh and his disciples) had produced a vibrant civilization because they had creatively interpreted the Qur'an and hadith to answer the needs of their times.[31]
Many Salafis themselves disavow these figures. One prominent Salafi website, for example, describing itself as promoting "the creed and manhaj of the salaf us-saalih – pure and clear,"[32] includes claims that al-Afghani and Muhammad ‘Abduh were "known freemasons and ... [show] great misguidance in their ideologies," and alleges they were interested in an "anti-colonial political movement" rather than "orthodox Islam" or "the way of the Salaf," but their call was deceptively surrounded with slogans of `returning back to the way of the forefathers.`[33][clarification needed]

Ok since we always talk about problems in the Muslim world, let's try to bring solutions to the problem, and yes in a peaceful way.

Please provide your suggestions with the more important first than least important. Only 5 points please.

Barakallah feek this will show us how much we all think alike and also do we really have a common answer andsolution.

Mashallah, you must be a lawyer and got all the proofsto make a claim like that. To say "all" you have to be very accurate. Cause if we are not all what u claim than if we were in an islamic country or shariah as u want so much, the judge would lash u in public for false claim

Salamu alaykum

Good point, how many Muslims wake up to pray fajr but we want shariah. That shows people how little they understand. We can't change ourselves but we want to change the country and world. Can u Change ur own boss at work and make him rule by book of Allah :). If people can't do that how can we change a king, ruler, sultan for better.? But note, we have to do things according the book of Allah and sunnah otherwise otherways are ways of shaytan and will bring nothing better but worse. How many Muslims have tried to do things in a manner not described in Quran and sunnah and has not brought nothing more but more evil, humiliation and problems.

I got an idea. Let's ask scholars for an advice hmmm doesn't sound that hard.? Most scholars would not agree with what Muslims do nowadays. But it's ok, Muslims know everything best.

The protests do nothing more but bring confusion. Also, are protests from islaam? Are Muslims suppose to uprise against their rulers and start fighting, destroying stuff etc. They are destroying their own cities, police stations etc which they need.

Another thing is that we see the sexes mix an push in large protests like that. Where is all that described.

We are so far away from Allah giving us shariah.

May Allah unite the Muslims upon haqq. Unite upon the Quran and sunnah the way the companions understood it.

So the prophet was wrong for fighting against the Quraish? His army did use violence. No?

I don't get what you confused Muslims are trying to suggest here. The people are wronged by their leaders, and they have the right to fight back. Thats all.

Peace? yes, there will be peace after the leaders are tried in court.

and the NEXT PERSON that suggests that WE OBEY leaders is proof that that person is WORKING for the GOV't.

Those so-called leaders have taken the christian and the jew as allies, and Allah said this:

"o ye who believe ! Take not the Jews and Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them..Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk "

Salamu alaykum

People like u are many who just talk about problems but don't do nothing about it. The prophet :saw: fought the quraish after 13 years of dawah of tawhid to his people. How many Muslims know what tawhid is? Peple make duah to graves, wear talismans seek blessings and protection other than Allah, deal with magic, ignore the sunnah of the prophet :saw:?

After the first muslim were free from all shirk and they obeyed the messenger :aaw:. Allah commanded him to make hijrah and the Muslims were strong in the deen. Did the prophet fight quraish when he was amongst them? U have to be strong to fight, Muslims have no power to defend themselves yet to fight. Please start with fixing the lower class Muslims before the higher class. If u can't change basic Muslims how u change the leaders? Silly!!

Another thing, why "fight has to be with weapons all the time" no wonder we are labeled as terrorists. Let's fight with the pen and proper knowledge giving the people dawah as the prophet :saw: did when he was with quraish and other than that.

No, brother. I used to think like you. Its not about faith. Its about justice. This is not an Islamic war, its a war between a human being and his oppressor.

I know what you're saying, though. like, instead of burning down the nightclub, we should just avoid it. You're right. But in the future, while you're busy working, a boy might play with your daughter's mind and get her to sneak out of your home and go to the nightclub. what then?

Yeah, it might never happen to you, but it does happen. Some parents kill their daughters. I say burn the nightclub to prevent more tragedies.

Salamu alaykum

I don't c u burning night clubs. But ofcourse as usually just talk but someone else do the work. When ur in charge inshallah then u can do things but since ur not remain quiet. Is better for u.
