Ok so Im understanding that kissing the hands or fingers is out but wiping them over the face is ok is that right? My husband will be so happy to hear that because when I told him it was an innovation he really didnt want to accept it!

I have edited out my previous reply. I apologize for the confusion I may have caused by making that statement. We learn something new everyday Alhamdulillah.

However, I have heard that one shouldn't wipe the face after making dua from the scholars that I listen to. But if there is a difference of opinion (as mentioned in the discussion above), thus one needs to investigate it further InshaAllah or be on the safe side until his/her doubt is not clarified.
