How do i type in Arabic?

Assalam Alaikum.
I am trying to find out how i can get to type using Arabic characters?
I want to be able to type in Arabic on the internet.
I am not using Arabic keyboard. Do i need to get the Arabic keyboard? And also do i need to download Arabic fonts?
Can someone help me in this matter?

or you can go to the start menu on your computer, go to control panel and many categories should come up. choose the one that says : date, time language. etc. under the words : PICK A control panel icon, click regional and language options. Then choose which lang. u want.

Virtual keyboard will only be available when your online,but changing your computer regional setup will make it available at all times too

Hopefully you could understand what i am trying to explained,, ive been using it since that day and bought a keyboard with english and arabic alphabets to make me type slightly faster than referring to the chart all the time I think you could get stickers too
