The brother is on a hunger strike because he wants to bring to attention how the Zionist pigs have not allowed the men who have been imprisoned to see family for almost five years.

He was forced the feeding tube last week. His wife has spoken on his behalf.

There is nothing that I am aware i.e. hadith and Quran that suggests we go hunger strikes.

Ukhti, no one here can correctly answer that question for you because we simply don't know the pains and torture that comes with being in such conditions, and I ask Allaah refuge from them for myself and everyone else.

However ukhti, read brother Sachin's post on Tarek Mehanna's case. Sobhan'Allaah! I've never seen such strength of Imaan. His speech in front of the inhuman judges goes to show his trust in Allaah and His pride as a Muslim.

Even though in our comfort and peaceful lives we cannot relate to what they are going through, we do know that in every hard and soft situation, the believers puts his faith in Allaah, and turns to Him for help.

This is not a post about helping out the people of Palestine. We all know that Israel is wrong. And in my responses I have never said do not help the people of Palestine. That issue is very close to my heart.


This issue is very specific.

My question is this: as a Believer there is no precedent for a hunger strike. It does no good. I am asking if there is sound evidence for staging a hunger strike.


Where is Amnesty International or Human Watch?
