How can I ask Allah for forgiveness and help?

Salaam

My name is Hamza and I am a revert Muslim. I did not follow Islam properly, I broke many rules, I lied and cheated in the name of Allah. Now I am I'm deep deep trouble and nothing can save me except Allah. I have decided to start a new life and be a better Muslim.

So the problem is, I am in serious debt after commuting fraud with a person who I no longer consider as a friend. He betrayed me and left me out to pay the debt. I have to pay thousands and I cannot afford to, so I told my parents the truth about the whole story. Now we all are very upset and don't know what to do. I feel very embarrassed about what I did, what a stupid person I am. I am now in shock and nervous and don't know what to do. I have to pay the debt in some way but I just don't know what to do. I want to ask Allah for forgiveness and help me show the right path and bring happiness and light to my life.

Only Allah can save from this trouble, I have lied and cheated and want to be forgiven. What do I do?

Walaykum Salaam Brother,

Do not dispair in the Mercy of your creator. the answer is simple. Perform your obligations towards Allah, forbit what he has forbidden and simply raised your hands in dua and ...... ASK
Its that simple. Just ask Allah to forgive you, day and night. You will no doubt feel peace in your heart.
Establish your prayer and surround yourself with good people. Help some people in a way that you can (you can give your time if you dont have money). Go to masjid and socialise with the other good brothers there.
Soon you will start to feel a connection to your Lord that you can actually FEEL. Its amazing!
Be patient Brother and never ever lose hope. Inshallah you will get the help you need with your situation.

Walaykum Salaam Brother,

May ALLAH forgive for your past sins.ALLAH is the Most Merciful.Just pray 5 times,pray more sunnah and do dhikr.Dhikr is simple and makes you earn a lot of hasanat just by that.
Never loose hope because Allah is always by your side.Ask for forgiveness.

Recite this Du'a:::

"O Allah, I seek forgiveness for every sin, I committed, about which, of course, You know inside and out, from the beginning to the end of my life, whether committed deliberately or intentionally, few or many, abstruse or manifest, old or new, secretly carried out or openly done; and for whatever wrong I have done I turn repentant unto You and beseech You to bless Muhammad and the children of Muhammad and forgive all my unjust acts I did to wrong the people (because they have rights which I have to recognize and fulfill) but You have full authority to forgive those wrongdoings whenever and howsoever You wish, O the most merciful."

Brother Hamza,

You are very blessed to even realize your faults and want to change it. May Allah SWT forgive you and make things easy for you.

For those you wronged you need to try to make it right. Make dua for them give sadaqah for them. Ask for their forgiveness.

There are so many ways to cleanse yourself of sins. Make salaht, make wudu, fast during ramadan, pray taraweh during ramadan, read the Quran during ramadan, go to Jumah, go to Hajja, etc.

In general you don't need anything special though, you can at anytime make Tawba (ask Allah for forgiveness). Now that you know what a screw up your WERE, just leave all those sins behind you and never do them again. And Allah will surely forgive you. Allah loves to forgive his servants. Allah is the All Merciful, the Entirely Merciful. I am sure there are much worse people out there than you.

Like I said you are far ahead of manking in that you believe in Allah and that you are at least feeling very guilty about your misdeed. You also are seeking to enter the straight path. May Allah SWT guide you and protect you from all evil.

As far as your debt, you need to get a job and just pay it off slowly insallah.

Your family and parents will always be there for you, when you friends come and go. Just treat them with love and respect and they will forget your misdeeds in time and come to trust you again.

I have seen a lot of screwed up kids in my time, the parents always love them no matter what.
