I would like to know if anyone knows some books about islamic jurispudence that is easy to read and understand.

Bulugh al Maram, Umdatul Ahkaam (by abdul ghanii al maqdisi, its lectures and notes/translations of first few chapters are available in english), etc.

Although the texts can be pretty much self-explanatory most of the time, I think it's always best to study in person with a teacher or a someone knowledgeable if there's one around your area. This way you can get an in-depth analysis and further explanations inshaa'Allaah. Some teachers even take the extra step to do demonstrations maashaa'Allaah.

May Allaah `azza wa jalla increase us in beneficial knowledge and help us to act upon it.
