so the borthers will have hoors and we ..............
we either get our husbands in this life

or whom ever you wish to be with in jannah

Allah (swt) gurantees to the dwellers of jannah whatever they please

just being in Allah's jannah..and knowing that you are there due to Him (swt) being pleased with does not compare in satisfaction to anything you might ever think of..

and don't forget.....women of this dunya...are envied by hoors...because they lived their lives in worship and in struggle to satisfy Allah (swt)...while they were in heaven waiting for their husbands

this whole thing should not concern you

Allah (swt) will give women that which will satisfy them inshallah :)

:salam2: Sister,

:salam2:

Pleasing the most Merciful and entering Paradise are the ultimate aim that believing men and women should wish for. If a person departs this world having won the pleasure of Allaah, then he will have the glad tidings of all that is good after that. When he enters Paradise he will have delights and pleasures such as no eye has seen, no ear has heard and it has not entered the mind of any man. He will have all that he wishes for in the best ways. Everything that he asks for will be granted, and everything that he longs for he will get. He will never find anything to upset or disturb him, because he is in the care of the Most Merciful, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner‑selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask.

32. An entertainment from (Allaah), the Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”

[Fussilat 41:31-32]

One of the best things that people long for in the Hereafter is, for men, the women of Paradise, namely al-hoor al-‘iyn, and for women there is an equivalent delight. By His great wisdom, Allaah has not mentioned what the women will have as the equivalent of al-hoor al-‘iyn for men, and that is due to modesty and shyness. How can He encourage them to seek Paradise by mentioning something that they are too shy and modest to mention or speak about themselves? So He has simply hinted at it, as in the verse (interpretation of the meaning):

“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner‑selves desire

[Fussilat 41:31-32]

Fairness or justice is to be found in the rulings of sharee’ah, not in what a person thinks who does not know sharee’ah and its rulings, let alone the reasons behind them.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they had, if at all, in the life of this world); rivers flowing under them, and they will say: ‘All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Who has guided us to this, and never could we have found guidance, were it not that Allaah had guided us! Indeed, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth.’ And it will be cried out to them: ‘This is the Paradise which you have inherited for what you used to do’”

[al-A’raaf 7:43]

There is nothing but joy and happiness in Paradise; there is no room for hatred and rancour in the hearts of the people of Paradise. Al-hoor al-‘iyn are something which Allaah has created to honour the people of Paradise and to increase their delight.

we think that when a man enters Paradise, he will get ‘Hoor’… that is a beautiful maiden - What will the woman get, when she enters Paradise? The Qur’an has mentioned the word ‘Hoor’, in no less than 4 diffrent places. It is mentioned in Surah Dukhan, Ch. No. 44, Verse No. 54, it is mentioned Surah Tur, in Ch. No. 52, Verse No. 20, it is mentioned in Surah Rehman, Ch. No. 55, Verse No. 72, as well as in Surah Waqia, Ch. No.56, Verse No. 22, and many of the translations, specially the Urdu translations have translated the word ‘Hoor’, as beautiful maiden. If the word ‘Hoor’, means a beautiful maiden… it means a beautiful maiden, then what will the woman get, in Paradise? Actually the word ‘Hoor’, is a plural for ‘Ahwar’, which is applicable to the man, and ‘Hawar’, which is applicable to the women. And it signifies the characteristic of ‘Hawar’, which means ‘big, white beautiful eye’, and describes especially, the whiteness of the eye. The similar thing is mentioned as ‘Azwajur Muthaharin’ in many places in the Qur’an, in Surah Baqrah, Ch. No. 2, Verse No. 25, and in Surah Nisa, Ch. No. 4, Verse No. 57 - It says... ‘Azwajur Muthaharin’, which means companion, pair. So the word ‘Hoor’, is rightly translated by Mohammed Asad as… ‘Spouse’ and also by Abdullah Yusuf Ali… Abdullah Yusuf Ali as… ‘Companion’ - So ‘Hoor’ actually means a ‘Companion’ or a ‘Spouse’ - It has no gender. For the man, he will get a good lady with big beautiful eyes - and for a woman, she will get a good man with big beautiful eyes.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE this is only opinion of Dr Zakir naik that hoors can be men but if you say that they can be men then how would you explain this

"...whom no man or jinn has touched before them." [55:56]

How is it possible that Allah says no MAN has ever touched HOOR and they(Hoor) be MEN .. AMAZING is'nt it.

The Qur'an describes al-Hoor al-'Eeyn as being firm and full-breasted:

"Verily, for al-Muttaqoon, there will be a success; gardens and grapeyards and young full-breasted [mature] maidens of equal age." [78:31-33]

Can you explain if Hoor are only companions and can be MEN too then how come they have breasts . Do men have breasts???

Also please explain this

The Messenger (saw) told us that al-Hoor in Jannah sing with sweet, beautiful voices. In al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, at-Tabaraani reports with a saheeh isnaad from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (saw) said,

"The wives of the people of Paradise will sing to their husband in the most beautiful voices that anyone has ever heard. What they will sing is: "We are good and beautiful, the wives of a noble people, who look at their husbands content and happy." And they will sing, "We are eternal, and will never die, we are safe and will never fear, we are remaining here and will never go away."" [Saheeh al-Jaami as-Sagheer, 2/48, no. 1557; also Abu Na'eem, ad-Diyaa in Sifaat al-Jannah]

KINDLY explain this too

The Prophet (saw) told us that al-Hoor feel jealous over their husbands in this world, if the wife of one of them upsets him. Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi report with a saheeh isnaad from Mu'aadh that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,

"No woman in this world upsets her husband but his wife from among al-Hoor al-'Eeyn will say, "Do not upset him, may Allah kill you! For he is with you only temporarily, and soon he will leave you and come to us."" [Saheeh al-Jaami' as-Sagheer, 6/125, no. 7069]

HOORS cannot be MEN .Dr Zakir Niak is respectable scholars but I disagree many of his opinions like the one about HOORS and he also said in a congregation PROBLEM OF KASHMIR IS POLITICAL THERE IS NO JIHAD... How can any one dare to say that .

ALLAH CANT BE UNFAIR

t is not permissible for the believer to say that one of the rulings of Allaah is not fair; exalted be Allaah far above that. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) slaves”

[Fussilat 41:46]

There is no rule that is better than the rule of Allaah. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Is not Allaah the Best of judges?”

[al-Teen 95:8]

Fairness or justice is to be found in the rulings of sharee’ah, not in what a person thinks who does not know sharee’ah and its rulings, let alone the reasons behind them.

The sister who is asking this question thinks that the jealousy in her heart, and what it leads to of depression and sorrow will remain with her in Paradise, but this is not correct, and this is why there is this misunderstanding in her question.

IF HOOR WERE MEN THEN WHY DID NT HAZRAT AISHA SAY IT WHEN SHE WAS ASKED SAME QUESTIONS SHE JUST ANSWERED THAT WOMEN WILL HAVE SOME THING THEY CANNOT IMAGINE..

So My advise to sisters is to be contented on that they will never know in this world what is there for them as substitute for HOOR because hazrat Aisha said that they cant even imagine.

As far as this problem is concerned that if some one dies UNMARRIED will he/she be alone in jannah NO NOT is your cousin died unmarried God Inshallah may marry her to another pious man in Jannah WALLAHU ALAM .

If I was a women then i would be contented on ALLAH's promise that he will satisfy every one in JANNAH and will give them what ever they want and every one will be happy.

regardless of whether men can be "hoor" or not, Allah(swt) says in the Quran Therein you shall have (all) that your inner‑selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask.' ibn qayyim who one of the great scholars said Allah did not put any condition on it so if a woman does desire a man to herself and she does ask for that then it is enough proof from Allah himself that he will give that, and for that neither Dr zakir naik is required nor anyone else

@ya allah madad
I am sorry that your friend passed away recently but as you know every soul will face death. May Allah (swt.) grant her Jannah, Ameen...

Firstly, the women will not receive Hoors, let me clarify this issue but it is also mentioned that they will not be left unmarried. Allah will give them their provisions equivalent to male. And also males and females will have servants to welcome them, it is not only the angels, just read these ayahs:

On thrones woven [with ornament],

Reclining on them, facing each other.
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal
With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring -

Surah Waqiah, Ayah- 15-18

Now, in Jannah everything is made Halal:

“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner‑selves desire.

Surah Fussilat 41:31-32

You don't need to worry of what you will achieve. Our reward depends solely on the deeds we do in this world and it is up to Allah to measure it and reward us accordingly, do know that there are several levels of Jannah and the more disciplined you are in this world, Allah will reward you with the higher parts of Jannah and you will be rewarded the way you fully deserve. :)
