Salaam!

I'm doing A levels right now!
I really wanted to do Law but our 6th form college doesn't offer it
Is it any good?
What other subjects are you taking?

'I really wanted to do Law but our 6th form college doesn't offer it

I really like it, this subject alhamdoulilah but it's a lot of hard work as well.

'thats an interesting mix!
great if u want to sue doctors or something.'

loool, but did you know that you're not allowed to sue doctors!!!
I chose these subjects and also Litterature, because i am not sure what to do like as a job. Allah knows best.

:salam2: Sister Libin,

You could become a lawyer/a legal research assistant/legal secretary who specialises in Medical Law, therefore you could be involved in cases of medical negligence.

Just a suggestion.

Are you sure? I think you can sue doctors here.... or so i thought??

i am just creating a senario here...

what do you do if a doctor messes up on you and YOU suffer because of it?? Can't you go sue them? ;) (i think in some places Americans are known for their suing, i'm serious... some people tread lightly around them because they are afraid that they will sue. Many times they do it for simple reasons but still manage to win somehow... but maybe that is just me with my boundaries generalizing?)

lol well I'll leave that to the Law Students

Anyway sis, I hope you find what is best for you Inshallah. :) :)

If anyone would like any past papers for A or AS level chemistry, biology or physics, let me know, and I'll try and attach some exam papers on to TTI.

basically, you can sue a doctor just in major cases like if they forgot something inside you during an operation or somethuing exceptional, but you can't sue them for not giving you the medecines that you want, otherwise everyone would sue them. well that's what our teacher said to us lol

I saw part of an episode of ER, and this doctor dude was getting sued for not taking care of a patient properly or something like that, it was totally rubbish, ER is totally phoney!

Anyways, maybe he was suing the hospital or something.

I heard A-level Law was pretty easy,
Is that true?

Libinette

Umm Zubayr
not exactly, well AS is rather easy, if you follow with the work otherwise you're lost, that's what i'm doing now, but my teacher said that A2 is much harder, and you're expected to develop more your essays, remember more cases.....

what are you studying??

:wasalam:

i finished my A-level (bio, chemistry, math) few years back. but i couldn't further my Bio-tech degree cuz i started my business already... i need u guys opinion, from this verse:

Quran Al-Anbiyaa:30

Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but We have opened them; and We have made of water everything living, will they not then believe?

this is agreed by the theory of Big Bang that universe began from explosion as mentioned in Koran "heavens and earth were closed up, but We(Allah) have opened them".

Water is the main source of every living things even a bacteria that lives in extreme dry condition. It is because without the process condensation and hydrolysis of loosing or gaining a water molecule, protein won't formed and life will not exist!

can we say like that? any opinions?

Also, some disbeliever of Allah will say this universe is created in random, or simply 'accidentally'....

so i always ask them what is the logic of those free RNA nucleotide units 'accidentally' bind to the corresponding DNA protein base without any errors and mistake?

that's y i don't even dare to become a doctor. well basically i not really terrified of blood, but the worse there r many medical terms to remembered. And it takes quite a long time to finish a GP level. i think if i hav chance to further my study i will take Bio-tech.

thx for the link. i owned few books of HarunYahya and i love his writings especially in science field. well even how hard we trying to preach to those unbelievers but still they believe the universe is came by itself, the worse i expected is happened randomly...
