The legalization of marijuana is an internal American issue. The reasons why marijuana is illegal is a political and not medical issue. 1937 is the year that the Harrison Act was passed.
As for the reporter..good for her....
The choice of medicine a person is willing to take is a personal issue not political. It is not a religious issue. A person is not a bad human being if they find a medicine that is capable of giving them a quality of life that does not include pain and side-effects.
