Coffee was first introduced by Yemeni Muslims in the 1400s. When the Usmani Empire grew to encompass the Arabian peninsula, coffee spread to Istanbul and later to Europe itself.

The smallpox vaccination was first developed by the Usmani Empire. The vaccine subsequently found its way to England through the wife of an English ambassador who observed its treatment and effectiveness in Istanbul.

In the early 1400s, a scholar of Fiqh from the Hijaz, Abd Al Rahman Al-Tamimi, travelled to Timbuktu for further study, only to realize that the level of scholarship was so high there that he would have to go to Fez first to take prerequisite courses before he could study with Mali's scholars.

In 70 CE (Common Era), the Roman Empire exiled Jews from Jerusalem. It was not until 637 following the Muslim annexation of the area, were the Jews allowed back into Jerusalem.
Now,the Jews confiscates Christians and Muslims keeping Jerusalem for themselves...so selfish.

Sister QueenIslam, it is said there is a difference in mindset, doctrines, philosophical inquiry and affirmation of brotherhood between those who define themselves as Jews and Christians and live in the West compared to those everywhere else. In respect to Jews, those who have lived among Arabs in Arab countries or still do so are more interested in peaceful coexistence with Muslims and have some affection in their hearts as 'cousins in religion' than those who live in Israel and in the West. The same is true about Christians from the West who have hatred, suspicion and a less than positive image of Islam and Muslims compared to those living in the Middle East.

The status of 'Ahlul Kitab' is now in question as those in the West are seen less as 'true Christians' by Muslims compared to those in the Middle East. Among the issues being the lack of relevance and realization of the Mosaic law as an important and integral aspect of their everyday lives.

As to Jerusalem, or the 'Holy Lands' as the region is called, both the Jews and the Christians, like the Muslims profess to be in preparation for Armageddon. To the Jews, it is the advent of the Jewish Messiah who will usher in Greater Israel where the boundaries will stretch from the Nile to the Euphrates. To the Christians it is the dawn of the Messianic age, the millennium of Messianic rule as it were and the removal of all world governments through Jesus Christ. Muslims are not identified by a known name, but I suspect feature in some way or another in both biblical and Talmudic scripture.

It remains to be seen the precise relevance of the present time and occurrences with that of the last days, but one scenario is for sure the battlegrounds are being quietly orchestrated and all three communities; the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims, will find themselves in the middle of it.

George, the Patron Saint of England, was a Fourth Century Palestinian. Despite the legend he slayed a dragon for which he is best remembered and often pictorially portrayed, historically he never did so either.

If the UK had any real and genuine affection for its patron saint, you would think they would switch their allegiance to his people; the Palestinians instead of to those opposed to them, the Israelis.

True, he was a Christian, but neither the Palestinians of today or the Israelis are Christian and the likelihood is in George's time, the Jews were his enemies.

Antarctica was not 'officially' discovered until 1818, yet Admiral Piri Reis, a Turkish Muslim Pirate, included it in his maps quite accurately at least three hundred years earlier.

Russia has been both successfully and unsuccessfully invaded by different countries since the 1200s. The Mongols did so in the 13th and 14th Centuries. Timur did so in the 1400s, Crimea in the 1500s, Poland in the 1600s, Sweden in the 1700s, France in the 1800s and finally Germany in the 20th Century.

The Mongols ruled Russia from the 13th Century until 1480, while Crimea burnt down Moscow in 1571 and had to paid an enormous ransom just to leave. Poland occupied Moscow for a brief period in the 17th Century and left only soon after the Romanov Dynasty was installed. The last three (Sweden, France and Germany) were the most powerful nations in their times and believed their military prowess to be the only weapon required to annex Russia to their empires. Each country was in turn severely devastated both in territory, population and prestige, invaded itself, brought to its knees and has never since recovered to its former glory; Russia was a key player on each occasion.

The last major war between Russia and Turkey in 1877-78, involved a highly powerful Western nation and a severely depleted and exhausted empire already on its death knell. The result was a decisive Russian victory, but was not without its consequences.

Turkish losses were thirty thousand slain combat, but ninety thousand through disease and other causes. Russian losses were fifteen thousand slain in combat and eighty thousand through disease and other causes.

The terms of the treaty that followed the war and chaired by European powers, although still more favorable to Russia, nevertheless awarded some territory lost by Turkey back to the Muslim empire. The reason; European countries still distrusted Russia and did not want the country to have too much power, even if it meant supporting a Muslim country to do so.
