Many Faces in One Face of Man :semi-twins:

By Mohammad Rafique Etesame

Allah Almighty Says in the Holy Qur’an,” He it is who fashioneth you in the wombs as pleaseth Him. There is no God save Him, the Almighty, the Wise.(The Family of Imran:6) Also Says,” He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you and made good your shapes, and unto him is the journeying. (AT-Taghabun:3)
These verses reveal that the real former of the “human picture” is Allah, Who shapes a live and moving picture with body and soul of a human being. “Al Musawwer” is His attribute.

He is not just like the painters of this world who draw the pictures on the papers or canvas. Infact, they participate in Allah’s attribute and manner of creation. So, Allah will Ordain at the Day of Resurrection to them that they make their pictures live. But that will not be in their power, so they will be punished.
In this article, the man has been assumed as a “picture” because he is a mortal, and when he passes away, he lefts behind only his picture set in a frame.

Human face shows many “pictures of his face,” for example, sometimes he is a king with great dignity, rank, pomp and show, and sometimes he is a beggar, having a poor, miserable and unlucky complexion. Sometimes he is a dacoit who gives a flash of terrible face, with heavy moustaches and bloody eyes, while sometimes, he gives a color of very liberal and bountiful man, and sometimes he is a merciless and cruel person, sometimes he gives a color of a kind and noble person etc.
It is to be noted that the “picture” of a pious an piety man is usually bright and beautiful, and the signs of prostration are seen on his forehead as the Holy Qur’an reveals,” Muhammad is the messenger of Allalh. And those with him are hard against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves. Thou (O Muhammad) seest them bowing and falling prostrate (in worship), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) acceptance. The mark of them is on their foreheads from the traces of prostration. Such is their likeness in the Torah and their likeness in the Gospel” (Al-Fatah: 29).
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was asked abut how could he recognize the people of his Ummah at the Day of Judgment? He replied that he would recognize them by their bright faces, hands and feet, that are washed in the ablution. (Al-Mishkat)

It means that those Muslims who offer prayers for five times daily, their body parts will be bright that are obligatory to be washed in ablution,.
On the other hand, they who do not put faith in Allah and His holy messenger PBUH, their faces will be black on that Day as the Holy Qur’an reveals,” On the day when (some) faces will be whitened and (some) faces will be blackened; and as for those whose faces have been blackened, it will be said unto them, Disbelieved ye after your (profession of) belief? Then taste the punishment for that ye disbelieved. As for those whose faces have been whitened, lo! In the mercy of Allah they dwell forever. (The Family of Imran: 107)
So, due to make the “picture” of man bright and beautiful, it is necessary to act upon the entire teachings of Islam.
