Hi everyone, I just want to know what is your intake on children partaking in the fighting and the killing in the middle east right now?

Also, what is your intake on 9/11? Do you think that these suicide bombers should call allah's name when they are killing themselves?

And who should be martyrs?

Wa alaykum salam wa Rahmatullah,

Firstly all Children should be in schools learning about Islam and about the world around them.. so they can better themselves, their families and the whole Muslim Ummah.

Fighting in Middle east is very broad in terms ??? there are many different groups, many different people....... with many different beliefs.. and different situations..

In Iraq, what is happening is carnage. The fighting there does not have popular support. You bring one sane Iraqi who wants his family to walk through a warzone...... whether or not it is occupied by Americans.

It is not from Islam to blow up market places or kidnap and kill civillians, this is what is happening there. May Allah help the Muslims and remove the fitnah of the extremists there.

Many people, muslim and non-Muslim comment on the situation in Iraq, but they have no idea of the reality there and the types of extremists there. I have close contact with Iraqis and nobody likes the fighting. They want peace and be able to go to work and feed their families.

There was one brother who returned to Iraq with a tape from Shaykhs in Saudi calling on Muslims not to kidnap Iraqis or kill Iraqis who work in the police force... The extremists heard of him and tried looking for him, he went into hiding. They then turned to his father who was owner of a restaurant. They kidnapped him and cut off his hands and took his eye out.

They are cowards, they are unIslamic and anyone who thinks they are doing good are a disgrace. They are immature hotheads who have no sense of reason. They do not follow either the Quran nor the sunnah, but are following footsteps of Khawarij group. These groups used to call Muslims Kafirs (non believers) for the smallest of sins, such as eating a date in someone else's field.

Those people who say "Allahu Akbar" and other things when doing Haram actions are simply increasing their sins. They are using Allah's name for a haram action! for murder. How can it be good for someone to make a video of themselves killing someone and saying Islamic things? Islam is totally against such actions. Whats the difference between them and those who beat and humiliate Iraqis to death in the prisons?

These people make Muslims look bad. Also, even minor things that we often see on internet and on TV, some groups often wear Kalimah on their head and have a weapon in their hand, or they have a weapon next to the Quran etc. Where is their evidence for this? It helps the enemies of Islam in their propoganda saying that Muslims are bad and evil.

Of course we must protect our families and there are many atrocities carried out against Muslims. But, there are many rules regarding safeguarding of civillians...... and Muslims have been through much much worse times then what is happening today and they did not resort to extremism or kidnapping and things such as that.

The Media will always focus on every single fault that a Muslim does. The Media is controlled by Zionists. Those who disagree are deluding themselves. For example,

Robet Fisk in Journalists are under fire for telling the truth said:
Fox News's Jerusalem bureau chief is Uri Dan, a friend of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and the author of the preface of the new edition of Sharon's autobiography, which includes a revolting account of the Sabra and Chatila massacre of 1,700 Palestinian civilians and Sharon's innocence in this slaughter. Then Ted Koppel, one of America's leading news anchormen, announced that it may be a journalist's duty not to reveal events until the military want them revealed in a new war against Iraq.

In the same light, the media does not show the American troops and Israeli troops who say prayers against Muslims. Thats what the Jewish troops did in Lebanon, they would not make prayers for peace, but for war and shedding blood.... However, their killing is shown as just or reasonable, even though the effect of the bombs is the same.

Nevertheless, Muslims can not copy the same action as Non-Muslims. We have high morals and ethics that are given to us from the Quran and Hadith. With regards to making sure those who are innocent are left alone.

If someone deliberately targets civillians, for example in the 7/7 London bombings then of course they committed murder. This is clear in Islamic law. There can not be justification of killing men, women and children in buses, indiscrimnately in busy city centre.

Muslims, Christians, Jews, black, white, men, women, children and pregnant women were all killed in London last year by extremists. Their use of Islam in these actions is sick. They should never even talk about Islam in such a context nor justify their actions as Islamic. - So of course they are not martyrs...... Those fat, lazy and jahil (ignorant) extremists who are sometimes given TV time should be ignored. If it wasnt for the media, we would never see or hear about them! Plus most of them are sellouts and are paid by the government. I would be suprised if any of these hotheads knew how to recite Surah Fatihah properly, or even 5 hadeeth with Isnad. They dont. Infact, many of them have grave errors in their beliefs to do with Aqeedah and so on.

Who is Shaheed?

Sahih bukhari Volume 1, Book 11, Number 688
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Martyrs are those who die because of drowning, plague, an abdominal disease, or of being buried alive by a falling building." And then he added, "If the people knew the Reward for the Zuhr prayer in its early time, they would race for it. If they knew the reward for the 'Isha' and the Fajr prayers in congregation, they would join them even if they had to crawl. If they knew the reward for the first row, they would draw lots for it."

Martyrs are also those who die in the way of Allah. That can be someone dies whilst doing giving Da'wah, doing charity work or one who fights for Allah's cause. And of course, we should not confuse that with the confused and ignorant people who do incorrect actions. Nor should we glorify the latter.... i.e. the suicide bombers in Iraq or those who kill civillians.

Read THe Following on Suicide bombing which is from scholars:

The Confusion on What is Suicide and Who May Be Targeted in War

And of course, it is not for us to speculate on the end of any Muslim. We make dua for our brothers and sisters. For places like Palestine, where people have had severe calamities such as family members being murdered by the Israeli forces and who have been brought up under extreme oppression and horrendous conditions and are not taught Islam properly, Allah knows best! Even though it is wrong, We ask Allah to forgive them... and we ask Allah to aid the Muslims, to make them strong and to end all oppression... and to increase Islamic awareness according to the Quran and the Sunnah of the blessed messenger :saw:

"It is not befitting for a Muslim to rejoice over the misfortunes of others, even if it were an enemy who wronged them. Oppression is unacceptable [in Islaam] and personal transgression/revenge against those who do not deserve punishment is forbidden, a terrible affair.

So how about these events that we witnessed, events that cause fear by merely viewing them, how can it be said that Muslims approve of such activities?!"
