Dear brothers I have been posting on and off on this forum, I have reverted in secrecy and now practicing Islamic life at home. We both wish to do hajj. What would be needed to do hajj without telling other fellow muslims? Do I need some certificate of reverting?

With recent trend of so many gangrapes and women bashing, it is time now for whole world to look towards islam for solution for such atrocities in women. Especially so for hindu men who must read and assimilate Islamic teachings of respect towards women.

I am reading few articles on Jihad and getting conflicting views. Can anyone give me authoritative tretise of essentiality if Jihad in Islam and its repercussions on kafir's ( non belivers ) who are essentially harmless and innocent people but not beleiving in Allah SWT and Prophet PBUH and islam.

I have been praying in solitude at home regularly now, but it was first time experience in mosque where large number had gathered. I can still not go to local mosque so this time I dared to go in new place where I am totally unknown.

Thanks brother for perfect understanding. Now I need to know how I can improve my Imaan in such situation. One thing I thought is regular prayers plus study of quran as much as possible taking out some time specifically for that. That is why I wanted to know which tafseer will be best.

Living in India in Hindu dominant area is very different than living in muslim majority neighbourhood. If I decleare shahada I will be loosing all the work I am able to do today. So practicing islam at home and that too in secrecy is the only option as of today.

Instead of showing anyone that I am believer I would like to let them think that I am atheist. Will it be ok if I practice prayers and studies alone?

Is it ok for practicing islam alone without letting others know your faith? I mean not mixing with muslims as muslim and not letting know other religion people know your faith? If yes how to practice to get imaan?
