    My experiences with Islam

As some may know, I recently made the decision to convert to Islam. I attended the mosque and such, but, after a while,I realised that I never truly believed in this religion. I am an atheist, and I always was, because when I took shahadah I didn't do it with belief and sincerity. And now, while...

I went to a Mosque today...

I visited the school, but due to certain circumstancesI had to go back to the mosque, which was an incredibly enlightening experience. I have decided to disregard any Shahada I may have said in the past. I am going to take my Shahada in a mosque, with fellow Muslims. They provided me with...

    Focusing on Allah’s Love

I believe that the younger generation of today, which I happen to fall in to (I am 17) are being made to believe that atheism is something of a more "open minded" and "intelligent" approach to life. I'm not saying atheism is stupid or idiotic, but when they believe that their necessity for proof...

    I am now a Muslim

Thank you all for your kind words. I now feel that I have opened my mind and I have found purpose. I know it seems a fast reversion to Islam, but truth be told, I have always, deep down felt an attraction to it in some way.

    I am Jordan....

I haven't looked into the basic pillars of Islam, but I assume I will find out by reading the Qu'ran? I have begun the Qu'ran now, and I am currently reading the second Sura. I am finding it hard to understand but no doubt I will understand in time.

    I am Jordan....

Thanks very much everyone. :) To Isra, I was raised without religion, as an atheist. My family are mostly atheist, but they will allow me to do as I wish and accept me, which I am grateful for. I have some Christians in my family, too. I am about to start reading the Qu'ran tonight, and I look...

    Hello, friends.

I already made a topic in the introduction section, so I apologise if this may seem a little pointless. I just wanted to say that as a religiously-undecided person, I have the utmost respect and open-mindedness towards Islam. I am horrified by the criticism it receives by morally blind people...
