Religion, as practiced by many non-Muslims, is an activity only indulged in on certain days, or in certain places, whereas Islam is a way of life which involves every single aspect of our existence from this world to the next.
Much may have been said about Islam but if all the leaves in the world were to be paper and all the water in the seas were to be ink, it would still not be enough to say all that needs to be said about Islam.

Believer in the truth of Islam strives to practice Islam first and analyze it later whereas a phony believer would analyze Islam to no end and end up not practicing Islam at all.

Didn't Allah ask "How do you know you have iman before you are tested"? (I cannot remember the exact verse so if some brother or sister knows, please post the reference here)
So every second we spend surfing the net, we are being tested. I beg Allah that our iman will grow...

If tribalism is used to glorify one's own tribe and place one's own tribe above the ummah, then it can lead to assobiyah which is haram in Islam. WaLLahu aklam.

If we do not allow something to be used just because it can be used for evil, then we can't even use a simple thing like knife because a knife can be used to kill people. Ditto for the internet. Myself, I consider the internet to be a great place to do da'wah work. WaLLahu aklam.
