ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن سبأ ابلد ام رجل ام امرأة ؟

لَقَدْ كَانَ لِسَبَإٍ فِي مَسْكَنِهِمْ آيَةٌ جَنَّتَانِ عَن يَمِينٍ وَشِمَالٍ كُلُوا مِن رِّزْقِ رَبِّكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ بَلْدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٌ{15} فَأَعْرَضُوا فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ الْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَاهُم بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَى أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍ وَأَثْلٍ وَشَيْءٍ مِّن سِدْرٍ قَلِيلٍ{16} ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِمَا كَفَرُوا وَهَلْ نُجَازِي إِلَّا الْكَفُورَ{17}
ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن سبأ ابلد ام رجل ام امرأة ؟ قال بل رجل ولد له عشرة من الولد فسكن منهم ستة اليمن والشام اربعة اما اليمانيون: فمذحج وكندة و الأزد والاشعريون وانمار وحمير واما الشام: فلخم وجذام وغسان وعاملة
قال علماء النسب منهم محمد بن اسحاق اسم سبأ هو عبد شمس بن يشجب بن يعرب اين قحطان وسمي سبأ لأنه أول سبأ في العرب وكان يقال له الرائش لأنه أول من غنم في الغزو فأعطى قومه فسمى الرائش والعرب تسمي المال ريشا ورياشا وذكروا أنه بشر برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في زمانه المتقدم:
وقال في ذالك شعرا:
سيملك بعدنا ملكا عظيما نبي لا يرخص في الحرام
ويملك بعده منهم ملوك يدينون العباد بغير ذام
ويملك بعدهم منا ملوك يصير الملك فينا باقتسام
ويملك بعد قحطان نبي تقى خبته خير الأنام
وسمى أحمد يا ليت أني اعمر بعد مبعثه بعام
فاعضده وأحبوه بنصرى بكل مدجج وبكل رام
متى يظهر فكونوا ناصريه ومن يلقاه يبلغة سلامى
قد كان لقبيلة سبأ بـ "اليمن" في مسكنهم دلالة على قدرتنا: بستانان عن يمين وشمال, كلوا من رزق ربكم, واشكروا له نعمه عليكم; فإن بلدتكم كريمة التربة حسنة الهواء, وربكم غفور لكم.
فأعرضوا عن أمر الله وشكره وكذبوا الرسل, فأرسلنا عليهم السيل الجارف الشديد الذي خرَّب السد وأغرق البساتين, وبدَّلناهم بجنتيهم المثمرتين جنتين ذواتَيْ أكل خمط, وهو الثمر المر الكريه الطعم, وأثْل وهو شجر شبيه بالطَّرْفاء لا ثمر له, وقليل من شجر النَّبْق كثير الشوك.ذلك التبديل من خير إلى شر بسبب كفرهم, وعدم شكرهم نِعَمَ الله, وما نعاقب بهذا العقاب الشديد إلا الجَحود المبالغ في الكفر, يجازى بفعله مثلا بمثل.
