Surah Ikhlas is the ultimate proclamation of Allah’s unity. In Arabic, surah ikhlas meaning sincerity.
The Surah is the Quran’s 112th chapter. It is merely four ayahs (verses), yet it encapsulates Islam’s essence. Allah SWT is one,
and nothing compares to Him.
As an assertion of Allah’s oneness, it rejects all kinds of polytheism and idolatry. This is critical because the absolute belief that Allah is One is the cornerstone of our religion. We worship Allah alone; He has no companions, partners, or aids. Worship is entirely focused on Allah because He is the only One deserving of worship.
Because it is entirely concerned with Tawhid, al-Ikhlas is not only the name of this surah but also the title of its contents.
The surahs of the Quran are typically named after a word that occurs in them, however, the term Ikhlas appears nowhere in this surah. This name was given to it because of its meaning and topic matter.
After a person has learned the basics of the five daily prayers they are usually anxious to recite the shorter surahs of the Quran in their prayers, and almost always surah Al-Ikhlas is one of them.
(1. Say: “He is Allah, One.”) (2. “Allah As-Samad.”) (3. “He begets not, nor was He begotten.”) (4. “And there is none comparable to Him.”) The reason for the revelation of this Surah has already been mentioned. `Ikrimah said, “When the Jews said, `We worship `Uzayr, the son of Allah,’ and the Christians said, `We worship the Messiah (`Isa), the son of Allah,’ and the Zoroastrians said, `We worship the sun and the moon,’ and the idolators said, `We worship idols,’ Allah revealed to His Messenger,
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
(Say: “He is Allah, One.”) meaning, He is the One, the Singular, Who has no peer, no assistant, no rival, no equal and none comparable to Him. This word (Al-Ahad) cannot be used for anyone in affirmation except Allah the Mighty and Majestic, because He is perfect in all of His attributes and actions. Concerning His saying,
(Allah As-Samad.) `Ikrimah reported that Ibn `Abbas said, “This means the One Who all of the creation depends upon for their needs and their requests.” `Ali bin Abi Talhah reported from Ibn `Abbas, “He is the Master Who is perfect in His sovereignty, the Most Noble Who is perfect in His nobility, the Most Magnificent Who is perfect in His magnificence, the Most Forbearing Who is perfect in His forbearance, the All-Knowing Who is perfect in His knowledge, and the Most Wise Who is perfect in His wisdom. He is the One Who is perfect in all aspects of nobility and authority. He is Allah, glory be unto Him. These attributes are not befitting anyone other than Him. He has no coequal and nothing is like Him. Glory be to Allah, the One, the Irresistible.” Al-A`mash reported from Shaqiq, who said that Abu Wa’il said,
(As-Samad.) is the Master Whose control is complete.”

(Allah the Mighty and Majestic says, “The Son of Adam denies Me and he has no right to do so, and he abuses Me and he has no right to do so. In reference to his denial of Me, it is his saying: `He (Allah) will never re-create me as He created me before.’ But the re-creation of him is easier than his original creation. As for his cursing Me, it is his saying: `Allah has taken a son.’ But I am the One, the Self-Sufficient Master. I do not give birth, nor was I born, and there is none comparable to Me.”)
What Is The Story Behind Surah Ikhlas?
During the early days of Islam, Surah Ikhlas was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) to teach pagans a lesson. Mecca’s polytheists and pagans came to the prophet one day and challenged him, asking, “Give us the genealogy of your Lord.” That’s when Allah revealed this surah.
Where Was Surah Al Ikhlas Revealed?
According to some traditions, surah al ikhlas was revealed in Madinah; nevertheless, it appears from narrations given in this matter that it was more likely revealed in Mecca since it came as a response to Quraysh’s (Meccan tribe) request to Muhammad (PBUH) to describe his Lord.

It Equals One-third Of The Quran
According to Abu Said Al-Khudri, a man overheard another man repeating in prayer: “He is Allah, the One.” And he recited it again and again. When it was morning, he went to the Prophet and told him of this, as if the recital of that Surah was insufficient. According to Allah’s prophet: “By Him in Whose Hand my life is, it is equal to one-third of the Quran.”
On another occasion, our glorious prophet said: “Is there anyone of you who is unable to recite one-third of the Quran in a night? One of those who were present said: O Prophet of Allah! Who has the ability to do so? In reply, the Prophet said: recite Qul Huwallahu Ahad (Surah Ikhlas).
A man came to the Prophet complaining of poverty and a scarce livelihood; the Prophet asked him to give greetings when he entered the house if there was someone in the house and if there wasn’t, to give Salam and recite Surah Ikhlas. The man did so and Allah SWT graced him with sustenance, so much so that he bestowed it upon his neighbors.

When the Prophet was praying over the body of Saad bin Maaz, he said: “70, 000 angels, among whom Gabriel or Jibraeel was also present, participated in the prayer! I asked Gabriel which action of his made him deserving of your prayer for him? Gabriel replied: because of his recitation of Qul Huwallahu Ahad while sitting, standing, getting on (his ride), walking, and in his comings and goings.”
Makes One Worthy Of Allah’s Love
Let’s know about an interesting story. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once sent a man to conduct an expedition. Throughout the trip,
this man ended his recitation of the Quran with Surah Ikhlas at the end of each prayer. When his friends returned, they told this to Prophet Muhammad, who said, “Ask him why he did so.”
When asked, the man responded, “In this surah, the qualities of the Merciful Allah are mentioned; hence, I love to repeat it again and again.” When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) heard this response, he addressed the people, saying: “Inform him that Allah holds him in great love and esteem.”
Erases Your Sins
According to Majma‘ al-Bayan fi Tafsir al-Quran, the Prophet also stated that anyone who believes in Allah SWT and the Hereafter should not stop surah ikhlas recitation after every Salah (prayer) because Allah SWT will assemble the good things of this world and the next for the one who recites it and will erase their sins, his parents, and children’s.
What Are The Rewards Of Reciting Surah Ikhlas 3 Times?
Since it’s been proved in many Sahih Hadith that reciting Surah Ikhlas is equivalent to reciting one-third of the Quran, reciting Surah Ikhlas three times is equivalent to the reward of reading the whole Quran once.

prophet Nuh is the Quran’s seventy-first chapter (surah), and it has 28 verses (ayat). It is about the Islamic prophet Nuh, also known as Noah,
and his concern over his people from the Bani Raseb tribe ignoring the warnings given to them by Allah through Nuh.
Noah’s purpose was to warn his people, who had fallen prey to wickedness and evil. Allah SWT assigned Noah the task of preaching to his people,
encouraging them to forsake idolatry and worship only Allah. According to the Quran, Noah’s teaching and prophethood lasted 950 years.
Surah Nuh’s themes include belief in Allah, signs of Allah (the Earth, Sun, Moon), and punishment for denying Allah’s message.
Surah Nuh Summary
The Quran mentions Nuh’s prophethood in fragments in this Surah. Nuh is Allah’s messenger. When Nuh saw the messages were not being received by the people,
he prayed to Allah, who had prepared to flood the Nuh village at a certain moment?
Allah instructed Nuh to warn the people about the impending flood. Allah sends down water from the heavens to validate Nuh’s word.
The flood was a sign of Allah’s kindness to the faithful in the Quran. It also symbolizes how Allah creates a new beginning for the world.

Where was Surah Nuh revealed?
Surah Nuh was revealed in Mecca, which means that it was revealed while Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was attempting to establish a Muslim community in Mecca.

“And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]. And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations. “Peace upon Noah among the worlds.” Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.”
And said, ‘Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwāʿ or Yaghūth and Yaʿūq and Nasr.’1

How To Do Ablution Step By Step?

First, your children must perform proper wudu. Take their hands in yours and do wudu step by step, asking them to imitate you.
The following are the actions you should take:
Make niyyah (intention)
There are no specific phrases or statements that must be uttered here. Creating a niyyah requires both the heart and the mind.
This is an important stage in the wudu-making process. Before we begin washing,
we must recite Bismillah. (In Allah’s Name.) You can say it quietly to yourself.
Wash Your Hands [Three Times]
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed us to begin on our right side. That means you’ll have to wash your right hand three times,
from fingers to wrist. Ensure that the water reaches every portion of the hand. Then, with your left hand, perform the same motions three times.
Wash Your Mouth [Three Times]
Rinse your mouth three times with water while holding it in your right hand. This should be done properly to ensure that no food or dirt remains in your mouth.
Inhale Water Into Your Nostrils [Three Times]
Snort or inhale the water into your nose three times, then blow it out. You may hurt yourself if you inhale too much water,
so be cautious.
Wash Your Face [Three Times]
The whole face must be cleaned. That is, from ear to ear and from the top of your forehead to the base of your chin.
This technique should be repeated three times.
Wash Your Arms [Three Times]
From the fingertips to the elbow, wash your right arm three times. Make certain that no region is left dry.
Then, three times with your left arm, repeat the process.
Wipe Your Wet Hand On Your Head [Once]
This is done only once. Move your wet hands from the top of the head to the back of the head, and then back to the top of the head;
for women, a moist hand on the upper sections of hair is sufficient.
Clean Your Ears [Once]
Wipe the inside of your ears with your index fingers and the region behind your ears with your thumb using damp hands.
This is also only done once.
Wash Your Feet [Three Times]
We’ll also wash our feet three times, just as we did our hands. Begin with the toes of your right foot and work your way up to and include your ankle.
Make sure that water gets into every portion of the right foot, especially the region between the toes and the back of the ankle.
Repeat with the right foot three times, then with the left foot three times. If you’re wearing socks, gently wipe the top of your right foot with your right hand. This is done only once, and then the process is repeated with the left foot.
6. O you who believe! When you intend to offer As-Salât (the prayer), wash your faces and your hands (forearms) up to the elbows, rub (by passing wet hands over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to ankles. If you are in a state of Janâba (i.e. after a sexual discharge), purify yourselves (bathe your whole body). But if you are ill or on a journey, or any of you comes after answering the call of nature, or you have been in contact with women (i.e. sexual intercourse), and you find no water, then perform Tayammum with clean earth and rub therewith your faces and hands. Allâh does not want to place you in difficulty, but He wants to purify you and to complete His Favour to you that you may be thankful.
You who believe! Do not approach the prayer when you are drunk, so that you will know what you are saying, nor in a state of major impurity–unless you are traveling–until you have washed completely. If you are ill or on a journey, or any of you have come from the lavatory or touched women, and you cannot find any water, then take for yourselves clean earth, wiping your faces and your hands. Allah is Ever-Pardoning, Ever-Forgiving.
How did Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) perform ablution?
the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed it so that we could do like him. This is essential because Prophet Muhammad was Allah’s Messenger whose task was to deliver Allah’s message to mankind and show them how to practice it.
If people were to decide for themselves how to worship Allah, even though they all believed in His oneness, there would be as many ways of worship as there are people, and there would be as many groups as there are teachers and leaders.
But Allah wants believers to be one community, united by their faith and their worship, as well as by their sense of belonging to the divine faith. Hence, He sent them a messenger to teach them His revelations and the wisdom imparted to him by Allah.
the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) companions realized all this as well as their duty to communicate to other believers what they learned from the Prophet. Thus, we have many reports telling us how the Prophet performed every act of worship. Ablution, or wudhu, is required for prayer, and it counts as an act of worship.
the first hadith
the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) made sure that he was seen performing ablution by many of his companions so that they would show it to others. Humran ibn Aban who served Uthman ibn Affan, the third caliph, reports:
“I saw Uthman performing his ablution, and he poured water over his hands three times to wash them, before rinsing his mouth, blowing his nose, and washing his face three times. He then washed his right hand up to the elbow three times; then he washed his left hand likewise. He wiped his head before washing his right foot three times than his left foot in the same manner.
He then said that he saw Allah’s Messenger performing his ablution in the same way before saying: ‘Whoever performs ablution like I have done and follows that with praying two rak’ahs during which he concentrates fully on his prayer, will be forgiven by Allah all his past sins.”
(Related by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Al-Nassaie and Abu Dawood).
the second hadith
This is the most perfect form of ablution, washing every part that we are required to wash three times. Hence, the Prophet makes clear that such perfect ablution, followed by a perfect prayer in which the worshipper does not allow anything to distract him from his worship ensures forgiveness of past sins.
However, other companions of the Prophet tell us about different forms of ablution. “A man said to Abdullah ibn Zayd ibn Aasim, a companion of the Prophet: ‘Can you show me how the Prophet performed his ablution?’ Abdullah said that he could and he called for water to be brought to him.
poured water over his right hand, washing it twice. He followed that by rinsing his mouth and blowing his nose three times.
He washed his face three times, and his hands to the elbows twice.
wiped his head with both hands, taking them back and forth, starting with his forelock and taking his hands right to the back of his head and bringing them to where he started.
He then washed his two feet.”(Related by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Malik, Al-Nassaie and Abu Dawood). Another version of this Hadith specifies that he wiped his head once only.
the Third hadith
Another Hadith describing the Prophet’s ablution is reported by Ibn Abbas who says: “The Prophet performed his ablution, washing each part once only.” (Related by Al-Bukhari, Ahmad, Abu Dawood, and Ibn Majah). This means that he did not repeat the washing either twice or three times. He washed his face, hands, and feet once only.
The fourth Hadith
Al-Mugheerah ibn Shubah reports: “The Prophet performed his ablution wiping the front of his head, his turban, and his inner shoes.” (Related by Al-Shafie, Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Al-Tirmidhi).
the Fifth hadith
These Hadiths show that the Prophet did not perform his ablutions, in the same way, every time. He varied his performance in order to indicate that all these forms are acceptable. The first Hadith mentions that the Prophet washed every part three times. This is the most perfect way of ablution. The other Hadiths indicate that it is also valid to do less than this perfect way. Thus, if one washes each part twice, or even once, the ablution is complete and valid. One can offer his prayers with it, in the same way as if he washed three times.
the Sixth hadith
this Hadith gives us the evidence supporting the concession of wiping over one’s turban, rather than removing it in order to wipe his head. This applies to any head covering that one is wearing, but one needs to offer his prayer wearing the same headcover. It is also perfectly valid to wipe over one’s inner shoes. These were soft shoes that Arabs used to wear for protection against cold and wear their walking shoes over them. The concession thus applies to socks or any type of footwear.
Conditions for wiping over the socks or shoes
The validity of wiping over one’s socks or inner shoes depends on certain conditions. The first is that we should wear these after having performed ablution fully, including the washing of our feet. When we have done that, and we need to perform ablution a second or a third time, we can wipe over our socks, i.e. the top of our feet, passing our wet hands or fingers over any portion of the top of our feet. We can repeat this performance any number of times on the same day, except during travel when the time range is extended to three days. Should we take off our socks after having used this concession, we will need to wash our feet the next time we perform ablution. This concession is very useful these days, with many of us having to stay at work for many hours every day, where proper facilities for ablution are scarce, and washing feet presents a real difficulty.
How To Do Dry Ablution (Tayammum)
Islam is a practical faith, and Allah in His Mercy does not ask of us more than we can handle. If water is unavailable, or if one has medical reasons for which ablution with water would be harmful, one may perform a more minimal ablution with clean, dry sand. This is called “tayammum” (dry ablution) Dry ablution is also called Tayammum. Islam legalized this for people who need to perform Salah where there’s no water available or the available water is unpure.
Here’s how you can perform tayammum:
locating a piece of land free of najasah (unclean elements). This might be any type of natural dust-collecting ground surface, such as rock or sand.
Make niyyah, or intention to make tayammum.
Place the hands on the ground.
Lift your hands and hit your hands together to verify that there is no dust on the surface of your palm.
With both hands, rub your face. The face extends from the right ear to the left, and from the top of the forehead to the bottom of the chin.
Make a fist and rub your hands together. The hands must be cleaned all the way up to the wrist bone.
We read Shahadah and dua after ablution. We utter Shahada and dua after wudu to imitate Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He used to say: “Ash-hadu anna la ilaha illal lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh”

What Is The Meaning Of Surah Kausar?
The idea of spiritual wealth via dedication and sacrifice is summed up in Surah Kausar.
This Surah is first and foremost addressed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), and then to the rest of the Muslims via him. Al-Kawthar means abundance in Arabic, and it is also the name of a river in Jannah that Allah (SWT) has given Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and from which the faithful shall drink on the Day of Resurrection (Yawm Al-Qiyamah). “Verily, we have blessed You with Al Kausar” (Surah al Kausar) kawthar, as applied to believers, represents the ability to gain knowledge, conduct good work, be kind to all beings,
and so achieve dignity and inner peace. kawthar can alternatively be translated as Cistern. This Cistern will be placed at the location where the ummah of Muhammad (PBUH) would congregate on the Day of Resurrection. The water for this cistern will be drawn from the river of Al-Kawthar in Jannah.
Anas (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) said that the Prophet (PBUH) was asked about Al-Kawthar and he said: “That is a river which Allah SWT has given to me, in Jannah. It is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey,
and in it are birds whose necks are like the necks of camels.”
Why Was Surah Kausar Revealed?
Despite the fact that it is a brief surah, its meaning and message are enormous in importance and hope.
This Surah was revealed during a particularly difficult period in the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
because it was during this period that the prophet’s enemies referred to him as Abtar, which means “cut off,”
because both of his male children from his wife Khadija (May Allah Be Pleased With Her) had died.
This was also the time when the Muslims were few in numbers and weak compared to the enemies of Islam.
Allah SWT revealed this surah to tell prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that He granted him a river in Jannah,
then told him that his enemies are the cut-off ones.
Anas (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) once narrated the incident in which the surah was revealed while the Holy Prophet was among them. “In the meantime, He dozed; then He raised His head, smiling, according to some traditions,
the people asked what for He was smiling, according to others, He Himself told them that a Surah had just been revealed to Him.
Then, he recited surah kosar; then he asked the people whether they knew what Kausar was.
When they said that Allah and His Messenger had the best knowledge,
He said; It is a river which my Lord has granted me in Paradise.” (Muslim)
What Number Is Surah Kausar?
Surah Kausar is the 108th chapter in the holy Quran. It falls in the 30th and last para (Juz) of the Quran.
It is the shortest of the Quran Kareem, with only three verses. This is one of the most popular surahs since almost every Muslim knows it by heart.
How Many Words Are In Surah Kausar?
Surah Kausar has 10 words. It has only 3 ayat and each ayah consists of 3 words except for the last one which consists of 4 words.
No wonder it’s regarded as the shortest Surah of the whole Quran Kareem. The Surah goes like this:
Surah Kausar has 42 letters. It’s the shortest Surah in the Quran, however, you can take about 420 good deeds (hasanah) by reading it once. How?
Since reading one letter of the Quran is given one Hasanah, reading 42 letters gives 42 ones and each hasanah is multiplied by ten.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the one who taught us these thousands of years ago: “Whoever recites a letter of the Book of Allah will be credited with a good deed and a good deed is multiplied into ten. I do not say that [the word:] “Alif Lam Meem” is counted as one letter. Rather, Alif is one letter, Lam is one letter and Meem is one letter” (At-Tirmidhi)
Verily, we have blessed You with Al Kausar (a river in Paradise).
So, offer prayer and sacrifice to your Lord.
Indeed your enemy is the one cut off.

What Does Surah Mulk Mean?
Surah Mulk or al-Mulk is the 67th chapter (Surah) of the Holy Quran. It’s titled in English as “Sovereignty” or “Kingdom.” It’s a Meccan Surah that underlines that no one person has the authority to force his will on another; he can only guide and provide an example.
This surah is part of the seventh set of surahs, which begins with surat al Mulk (67) and continues until the conclusion of the Quran; Surah An-Nas.
The arrangement of several surahs in this group eventually brings the topic of warning to a close.
Benefits of Surah Mulk
Reciting Surah Mulk has more benefits than you could believe. It not only provides protection in this life and hereafter but will protect you in-between.
In a hadith, it was mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) recommended reading Surah Mulk every night before going to bed.
There is a Hadith narrated by Imam al-Hakim in which the Holy Prophet peace be upon him said:
“Surah al-Mulk prevents punishment in the grave.” Imam Hakim also related that Abdullah bin Mas’ud said that, the Holy Prophet peace be upon him is saddened that:
“When a person is buried in his grave, he will be approached from his feet and the feet will say no harm to you.
for what is in my heart, the person always stood on me and read this surah, then the person will be approached from his chest,
and the chest will say that you have no right to do harm for what is in my heart, he has been used to recite Surah al-Mulk.
How Many Ayahs Are In surat al mulk?
surat al Mulk has 30 ayahs (verses). surat al Mulk is known to have well-structured verses that each reveal and communicate new ideas. As a result,
the entire Quran seems to be a well-connected and structured text.
The structure of surat al Mulk ayahs goes like this:
(1-3) Praise is to Allah, the Almighty, the Almighty Creator and Ruler of all things.
(3-5) The magnificence of Allah’s creations seen in the heavens praise Him.
(5) We have decorated the lowest sky with lights and equipped them with weapons to pelt the demons with, and We have prepared the punishment of roaring fire for them.
(6-8) Hell’s torments are being prepared for unbelievers.
(8-11) Infidels will repent their foolishness in hell for considering Muhammad a liar.
(12) Those who dread their invisible Lord will get a pardon and a tremendous reward.
(13-14) Allah knows all things.
(15-18) Allah shall destroy unbelievers.
(19-24) Unbelievers who are ungrateful to Allah, who supports them in life.
(25-28) They challenged the Prophet to expedite the judgment, but they will be terrified when it approaches.
(29-30) On that day, Allah is The Merciful, and He is the sole protector.
Where Is surat al Mulk In The Quran?
What Chapter is surat al Mulk?
surat al Mulk is a chapter (Surah) 76 of the Quran. It falls into the last division of the Quran or the seventh one.
This division’s topic is “Warning the Quraysh leadership of the implications of the Hereafter and bringing good,
tidings to Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) of the dominance of the truth in Arabia.”
What Page Is surat al Mulk Located In The Quran?
surat al Mulk starts on page 562 until page 564 of al Quran al Kareem.
What Para Is surat al Mulk Located?
Surah Mulk is placed in the 29th para (juz) and it comes after Surah at-Tahrim and before Surah al-Qalam.
This Juz is called Juz Tabarak because of surat al Mulk that starts the first Ayah with the word “Tabarak.”
When Should You Recite surat al Mulk?
You should recite surat al Mulk when you lay down before you go to sleep. This is when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to recite it. According to Aisha (May Allah Be Pleased With Her):
“Whenever the Prophet (PBUH) went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over it after reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq, and Surat An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face, and front of his body. He used to do that three times.”
Surah Mulk recitation
Surah Mulk recitation before sleeping was also mentioned in another Hadith and how it protects whoever recites it. This was narrated by Abd-Allaah ibn Masood:
“Whoever reads Tabaarak alladhi bi yadihi al-mulk [i.e., Surah al-Mulk] every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) we used to call it al-maani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allah it is a soorah which, whoever recites it every night has done very well.”
(Narrated by Al-Nasa’i)
Whenever a section of al Quran al Kareem is advised to be read for a certain cause or at a given time,
we should obey that command as Allah’s SWT obedient servant in order to reap the benefits and rewards of it.
Maybe that’s why surat al Mulk was advised to be read at night.
Scientifically, if you want to develop a new habit that will be readily repeated,
it has been demonstrated that stacking the new routine with an existing routine assists so the activity may be quickly repeated.
So, if you try to read at night, it is a good thing.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also said about this Surah:
“Indeed there is a Surah in the Quran of thirty Ayat, which intercedes for a man until he is forgiven. It is [Surah] Tabarak Alladhi Biyadihil-Mulk.”

Surah Al Mulk (Arabic: سورة الملك) is the 67th Surah of Quran composed of 30 ayat (verses). It is classified as a Meccan Surah titled in English as “Sovereignty” or “Kingdom”.
Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Raheem
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful
Allazee khalaqal mawta walhayaata liyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu ‘amalaa; wa huwal ‘azeezul ghafoor
2. [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving –
Allazee khalaqa sab’a samaawaatin tibaaqam maa taraa fee khalqir rahmaani min tafaawutin farji’il basara hal taraa min futoor
3. [And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?
Wa laqad zaiyannas samaaa’ad dunyaa bimasaa beeha wa ja’alnaahaa rujoomal lish shayaateeni wa a’tadnaa lahum ‘azaabas sa’eer
5. And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.
Takaadu tamayyazu minal ghaizi kullamaaa ulqiya feehaa fawjun sa alahum khazanatuhaaa alam yaatikum nazeer
8. It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, “Did there not come to you a warner?”
Qaaloo balaa qad jaaa’anaa nazeerun fakazzabnaa wa qulnaa maa nazzalal laahu min shai in in antum illaa fee dalaalin kabeer
9. They will say,” Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, ‘ Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.’ “
Huwal lazee ja’ala lakumul arda zaloolan famshoo fee manaakibihaa wa kuloo mir rizqihee wa ilaihin nushoor
15. It is He who made the earth tame for you – so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision – and to Him is the resurrection.
‘A-amintum man fissamaaa’i aiyakhsifa bi kumul arda fa izaa hiya tamoor
16. Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?
Am amintum man fissamaaa’i ai yursila ‘alaikum haasiban fasata’lamoona kaifa nazeer
17. Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning.
Awalam yaraw ilat tairi fawqahum saaaffaatinw wa yaqbidna; maa yumsikuhunna illaar rahmaan; innahoo bikulli shai im baseer
19. Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.
Amman haazal lazee huwa jundul lakum yansurukum min doonir rahmaan; inilkaafiroona illaa fee ghuroor
20. Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.
Amman haazal lazee yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqah; bal lajjoo fee ‘utuwwinw wa nufoor
21. Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion.
Qul huwal lazee ansha akum wa ja’ala lakumus sam’a wal absaara wal af’idata qaleelam maa tashkuroon
23. Say, “It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.”
Falaammaa ra-awhu zulfatan seee’at wujoohul lazeena kafaroo wa qeela haazal lazee kuntum bihee tadda’oon
27. But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, “This is that for which you used to call.”
Qul ara’aytum in ahlaka niyal laahu wa mam ma’iya aw rahimanaa famai-yujeerul kaafireena min ‘azaabin aleem
28. Say, [O Muhammad], “Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?”
Qul huwar rahmaanu aamannaa bihee wa ‘alaihi tawakkalnaa fasata’lamoona man huwa fee dalaalim mubeen
29. Say, “He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error.”

Surah Mulk Tafseer in English
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِى بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْك
Glorification of Allah and mentioning the Creation of Death, Life, the Heavens, and the Stars
Allah the Exalted glorifies His Noble Self and informs that the dominion is in His Hand. This means that He deals with all of His creatures however He wishes and there is none who can reverse His decree. He is not questioned concerning what He does because of His force, His wisdom, and His justice. For this reason, Allah says,
وَهُـوَعَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
(and He is Able to do all things.) Then Allah says,
الَّـذِى خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَـوةَ
(Who has created death and life) Those who say that death is an existing creation use this Ayah as proof because it is something that has been created. This Ayah means that He brought creation into existence from nothing in order to test the creatures. He examines them to see which of them will be best in deeds. This is similar to Allah’s statement,
(How can you disbelieve in Allah Seeing that you were dead and He gave you life.) (2:28) In this Ayah Allah named the first stage, which is non-existence, “death.” Then he named the origin or beginning of existence, “life.” This is why Allah says,
ثُـمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُـمَّ يُحْيِيـكُمْ
(Then He will give death, then again will bring you to life ( on the Day of Resurrection)) (2:28). Concerning Allah’s statement,
لِيَبْلُوَكُـمْ أَيُّــكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً
(He may test you which of you is best indeed.) it means best in deeds. This is as Muhammad bin `Ajlan said. It should be noted that Allah did not say “which of you does the most deeds.” Allah then says,
(And He is the Almighty, the Oft-Forgiving.) This means that He is the Almighty, the Greatest, the Most Powerful, and the Most Honorable. However, along with this He is Most Forgiving to whoever turns to Him in repentance and seeks His pardon after having disobeyed Him and opposed His commandment. Even though Allah is Almighty, He also forgives, shows mercy, pardons and excuses. Then Allah says,
الَّـذِى خَلَقَ سَبْـعَ سَموَتٍ طِبَـاقًا
(Who has created the seven heavens one above the other meaning stacked one on top of the other.
Are they connected to each other, meaning that they are in elevated ascension, some of them being stacked above others,
or separated with space between them There are two views concerning this, and the most correct opinion seems to be the latter as is proven in the Hadith of Isra’
(the Prophet’s Night Journey) and other narrations. Concerning Allah’s statement,
(you can see no fault in the creation of the Most Gracious.) means, it (the creation) is done in a flawless manner,
and these are connected with each other so as to forms a straight level, having no disunion, conflict, inconsistency, deficiency, flaw, or defect. This is the reason that Allah says,
فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَى مِن فُطُورٍ
(Then look again. Can you see any rifts) meaning, look at the sky and pay close attention to it. Do you see any flaw, deficiency, defect, or rifts in it Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid, Ad-Dahhak, Ath-Thawri, and others said concerning Allah’s statement,
(Can you see any rifts) means, `do you see any defects O Son of Adam (mankind)’ In reference to Allah’s statement,
ثُمَّ اْرجِعِ البَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ
(Then look again and yet again, ) Qatadah said, “It means (look) twice.”
يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ البَصَرُ خَاسِئًا
(your sight will return to you Khasi’,) Ibn `Abbas said that Khasi’ means humiliated. Mujahid and Qatadah both said that it means despised.
(and worn out.) Ibn `Abbas said that this means it will be exhausted. Mujahid, Qatadah, and As-Suddi all said that it means breaking down fatigue that comes from weakness. Thus, the Ayah means that if you continuously looked, no matter how much you look, your sight will return to you.
Khasi’due to the inability to see any flaw or defect (in Allah’s creation).
And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, This refers to the stars which have been placed in the heavens, some moving and some stationary. In Allah’s statement,
وَجَعَلْنَهَا رُجُـومـاً لِّلشَّيَـطِينِ
and We have made them missiles to drive away from the Shayatin, The pronoun `them’ in His statement, “and We have made them” is the same type of statement as the stars being referred to as lamps. This does not mean that they are actually missiles, because the stars in the sky are not thrown. Rather, it is the meteors beneath them that are thrown and they are taken from the stars.
وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ
We have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire. means, `We have made this disgrace for the devils in this life and We have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire in the Hereafter.’
