A good behavior is the main message of Islam as good behavior is the result of true faith . Faith without a good behavior has no value . When the Prophet ( salallahu aleyhi wa salaam ) was asked what is religion , he said that religion means good behavior ; when he was ask what pain means , he answered that the true pain is the less of good behavior . Allah’s last Messenger also said that faith does not mean wish/desire but what is in soul and showed in actions . In the Judgement Day , the behavior will be the main criteria . The Prophet (salallahu aleyhi wa salaam ) said that nothing will be more important in the Judgement Day than actions . In Islam the behavior is a result of adoration . Without a good behavior , the acts of adoration are just simple exercises of movement . The Prophet( salallahu aleyhi wa salaam ) said that a person who does not stop from bad actions after praying is far from Allah . A good behavior means :

  • to avoid doubtful things ;
A Muslim must avoid forbidden things and must be careful and avoid also doubtful ones . The Prophet ( salallahu aleyhi wa salaam ) said that a human will not be ‘ ‘ muttaqin ‘ ‘ ( a person who fear Allah ) if he will not avoid even what is not considered forbidden from fear to not make sin .

  • to keep his seeing away from what is forbidden ;
A Muslim must not look at what is forbidden , because such a view can provide him desire (sexual instincts ) and makes him to do sin .

  • to avoid bad language ;
A person must avoid bad words , unuseful talks , false accusations about other person . When someone is not decided to talk or not , due to Sunnah (the Prophet’s tradition ) , the most indicated is to be silent , because what he might say could be a forbidden thing or a doubtful one . Spoken words can generate disaster or be false accusations .

  • to be shy ( in a good sense ) ;
A good Muslim must be shy always but shyness must not stop him to tell the truth . Shyness is what keeps human to not interference in others’ private things , to talk loud , to say bad words etc. The true shyness is what makes us to avoid evil and to pay attention concerning the others’ rights .

  • to be patient and kind ;
Spreading Islamic religion , telling the truth and facing difficulties , pains , humiliation , obstacles and degradation .

  • to be sincere ;
A Muslim must be sincere , honest , to tell always the truth whatever consequences are . Telling a lie is a proof of bad behavior and gives free way to evil . The Prophet ( salallahu aleyhi wa salaam ) said that truth is followed by goodness and goodness is followed by Paradise .

  • to be modest ;
A Muslim must not make differences between the rich and the poor .

  • to be generous ;
A Muslim must do sacrifices for the sake of Allah ( must sacrifice his richness and other things . . ) .

  • to avoid having doubts and talking bad about others .
A Muslim must be a good example . Each action of him must reflect the Islamic principles in every day life , when he eat , drinks , dress , talks , travels , when he is at home , office , even when he is silent .
