a thought

assalamualaikum everyone,

i was driving to work today and passed by a graveyard and something came to my mind. i thought: how lucky are we to be muslims, I mean do we really think about this, do our actions reflect this? are we really greatful that we are muslims or do we always ask the question why me? what did i do to deserve this? do we focus on the low points in life or do we reflect on all the millions of uncountable blessings that Allah has given us? think about it, the single blessing that we are muslim is sufficient of a blessing, if we were to thank Allah from now untill the day of judgement, it would not be enough, we would not return the favour.
no matter how bad life can get or how many worries we have or how lonely we may feel at times, remember the favour of Allah upon us, that we are muslims. when we enter paradise (inshaAllah) all these worries, all the tests we had in life will vanish and be forgotten. Allah will ask us in paradise, are you satisfied and we will reply, o Allah why will we not be satisified when you have forgiven us our sins and entered us into paradise. at this Allah replies: from now on I will always be pleased with you and at this point, the inhabitants of paradise will say: Allah show us yourself. imagine having the chance to see Allah, it will be more amazing that everything in Paradise!

I meet such nice people everyday be it customers or collegues, and I always wish in my heart that they are muslim. we are so blessed, I wish that we can all put a positive effort, by our character, to show people what Islam is really about. those people in their graves, there chance is gone, whereas we still have this chance to do good, please do not waste this chance.

subhanaAllah.............this is beautiful (what you wrote!) mashaAllah, tabarakaAllah. You have reminded us about our little chance in Dunya in such a BEAUTIFUL manner! Allah reward you for that dear sister Hana
and YES INDEED!! we should be thankful that we're Muslims and STILL living, we have the chance to please Allah with every opportunity we GET! subhanaAllah, and the beauty of Islam is, we're REWARDED for EVERY goood DEED! subhanaAllah. Imagine how many sadaqas you could give by JUST putting on a SMILE! oh how Allah is so so so so MERCIFUL!
subhanaAllah, and that part about meeting Allah......I cannot wait for such, and I hope I get to get that chance to actually see my creator. I like the part where Allah will say: "where are my servants who have obeyed me without seeing me"!! subhanaAllah! Imagine that blessing to come..........just thinking about that should reduce our worries in life.

InshaAllah you will get to see Allah and be of those who enter jannah without hisaab and always be an 'amatuAllah'. you know i was thinking the other day, i wonder what everyone on tti looks like? i guess that meeting will be in jannah ameen.
