:salam: Recorded in At-Tirmidhi the Prophet (saw) said: have "Haya" in respect to Allah(swa)
in the right sense of Haya. The sahabah (peace be upon them all) asked what is haya in the right sense? He(saw) said It is to control the head with what it perceives, the belly with what it contains and to be mindful of the tomb and decay. In another tradition the Prophet (saw) said;

"If you feel no Haya then you can do anything".

So please lower your gaze and wear modest clothing .:hijabi:

Promote good and stop evil.

ma salaam

I feel people have no Haya today because people walk around half naked in public without any shame. Most men and women nowadays try to show off their bodies as if everybody is looking at them and only them, what they fail to realise is that people with Haya just pity them.

Hayaa encompasses mans every action, but nowadays it is limited to being an apparent feature, either by the way they dress or conduct themselves. But it is not limited to dress. It is evident from basic things like your gaze, the way you talk, the way you walk, who you talk to and how you talk to them, what you’re talking about and how you’re talking about it. It is the formality and propreity of your manners too. Modesty isn’t simply defined by clothes, for example, not every Hijaabi is modest and not every non-Hijaabi (including non-Muslims) is not modest. In saying that, it is easy to adjust our level of modesty when we need to, in a crowd, to please, to impress, to praise and like so receive it. Real hayaa, however, is that which you have in the absence of another man, with you and your Lord ... His gaze we can never avert from, and so it is this hayaa in my opinion that is the sweetest, and then the more apparent features will follow, by default, by habit, effortlessly ... with no worldly recognition in mind.
