As of 10 minutes ago, the signal has been sent around the globe stating that Al Qaida is opperating in Palestine/Isreal. I don't even know what to say anymore. No doubt later today we'll here more lies/rhetoric from Bush. The Isrealis must be getting tried of only severely raping Palestine, so my guess is that now they're hoping to increase the genocide & stealing of rescources (land, water, farms, etc). I'm sort of in shock right now, so I don't have much intelligent things to say on the matter, other than it is my belief that this has been orchestrated by malintent - as usual from the Zionists/Imperialists/Illuminati. CAIRO, Egypt - A group calling itself al-Qaida in Palestine posted a Web video Wednesday denouncing those who "work in the service of the Jews."
The 5-minute video contains previously-aired clips of Osama bin Laden and slain al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, as well as footage of a masked man sitting alongside an automatic weapon and a rocket-propelled grenade launcher.
"My speech is directed against... those who announce blasphemy against Islam and who are allied with enemies of God and religion, and work in the service of the Jews and the Christians," the man said.
It was unclear how large or sophisticated the group was, or whether it was indeed linked to al-Qaida. It has never claimed responsibility for any attacks.
A senior Palestinian security official in Gaza said he had never heard of Abu Hafs and could not confirm or deny the existence of this group.
The video surfaced as U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice held a news conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank.
The man on the video identifies himself as Abu Hafs, a field commander for the group al-Qaida in Palestine. He appeared to criticize Palestinian leaders without naming them, along with Palestinians he viewed as not doing enough for their national cause.
"They own investments, companies and real estate inside and outside the country while the people are starving and without clothes," he said. Big salaries had lured some Palestinians to cooperate with Israel "like a herd of sheep," he said.
Speaking directly to Palestinians, the man said: "In every crisis, your leaders flee abroad and hand you over to killing and horror."
Some Israeli media have reported that al-Qaida was trying to build cells in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, and Israel has indicted two West Bank militants for al-Qaida membership.
The man on the video threatened "a severe war (against) anyone who carries a weapon defending a traitor, an informer or a security coordinator."
"He will be a target for our swords if he does not repent and return to the people's ranks.... Be aware not to accompany them to death," he warned.
The Palestinian security official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said he did not believe there are any Al-Qaida cells present in Gaza, though there may be individuals who sympathize with the group's ideology.

Two news articles out of Israel herald the arrival of al Qaida members in Gaza and the West Bank.
The Jerusalem Post reports that Palestinian security forces have arrested one extremist in Gaza, and quotes a senior Palestinian source as saying several other members are spreading the group's ideology.
The Jerusalem News Wire translated comments by Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to the al-Hayat paper in London: "We have indications about a presence of Al-Qaida in Gaza and the (West) Bank," he said. "This is intelligence information. We have not yet reached the point of arrests."
The JNW wrote: "Local Al Qaeda cells are likely to find themselves operating with little or no hindrance after Abbas transfers control of the "Palestinian" security forces - all of them - to Hamas sometime later this month."
A Hamas spokesman told the Jerusalem Post the organization had no intelligence of al Qaida's presence. "If the things Abu Mazen (Abbas) said are true, then the matter must be handled immediately," he said.
The Guardian quotes acting Israeli president Ehud Omert as saying, "We know of, and are monitoring, attempts by international terrorist elements to infiltrate areas close to us. One must not forget that Islamic Jihad and Hamas are also part of the global terrorist movement, and have always received support and assistance from international terrorist elements, thus the ability to discern a link between terrorist elements in the territories and international terrorism is neither surprising nor new."
The newspaper stated that Israel has said it believes al-Qaida penetrated the Gaza strip through the Egyptian border during the upheaval around the Israeli pullout from the territory last year.
Hamas delegates are in Russia for a critical political roadshow. Ahead of that meeting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this morning that Hamas needs to transform itself into a political party and turn its military wing into a legitimate part of the Palestinian Authority's security structure. "I don't think Hamas will have ... any future if Hamas doesn't change," Lavrov told reporters.
Hamas, meanwhile, is saying it will not recognize Israel. That is "decided," exiled leader Khaled Mashaal declared today.
