Asalamualaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
Okay I had a question. I'm from Pakistan and idk if it's allowed in the religion on not but once in a while (like a couple times a year) a lot of Pakistani families get together with friends and family to read Quran for the people who have passed away...I was told one time that the prophet s didn't do this, therefore we shouln't either. But I just want to know what Islam has to say about it...some proof would be great.
JazakAllah Khair in advance.
