Interesting An interesting encounter

Assalamo 'alaikom
Hope this post finds everyone in the best of health and iman in sha' Allah.

I wanted to share an interesting encounter.

A: Waiting on the bus stand for his friend.

A sees an old man "B" with a fractured hand,trying to climb the bus stand's platform.
A helps B up.
B thanks him.

A moment of silence.
B ,tells A B's young son passed away and he had come to a masjid over ,in order to collect money after Juma prayer ,so that he could get a proper burial for his son.
A is stunned and shocked.Asks if he can help?


Then A hesitantly asks if B is a muslim?
B says ,no he is a christian.
A is now properly confused.
He asks B,why he as a christian is coming to masjid to ask for money?
B says,people these days ,do not help even their own family members.Be they of any religion,Christian,Hinduism etc,but muslims have something in their religion which urges them to help anyone in need.
B then leaves as his bus arrives,leaving A to ponder over this incident which would stay with him forever.

Although situation in our society looks grim,looking at all the islamophobic incidents and hate filled news and activities.
There is always a silver lining no matter how dark it gets.
That is what has been revealed by our Rabb.
A beacon for humanity.
Islam is a religion of mercy and is philanthropic ,although many muslims as well as non muslims seem not to grasp this and have forgotten this.

There is a hadith

The best of people are those that bring most benefit to the rest of mankind.

Let us remember who Allah is:The Most Merciful
what Islam is ,"A mercy"
our prophet salallahu 'alyhi wasallam was sent as "a mercy".

Let us all become ibaad ar Rahman."The slave of the most Merciful"

Alhamdolillah who manifests the truth even though many people hate it.
Islam manifests itself upon every other way of life,alone by its teachings.
Imagine if we put ourselves to practice it.
