Look at like this, its pretty much a waste of time when you look at it sensibly. Personally looking at half the games most of them are not very good, in terms of educating you. The same applies to shows like The Simpsons. I say this because when your Eeman increases you discover the evils in these shows which i did not notice before. SubhanAllah.
The answer makes this clear. I dont want to comment on the second bit because i maybe giving a Fatawa, although look at it rationally. Is it beneficial for you to play these games? Will it increase your knowledge? And so on....
