I am Dareen Maula and I am 17 years old and a sister :) . Well I was born a Muslim but never really got proper knowledge about my religion. I am not with religious family but I am blessed Alhamdulillah to have a good and happy family. Alhamdulillah Allah(Aza Wa Jal) Guided me because my curiosity led me to Islam. Now I'm so overwhelmed and really desperate to study at madrasah or anything that will help strengthen my iman. I really want to seek true and beneficial knowledge and guidance through Islam but my situation is so complicated because my parents don't understand yet because they think I'm going nuts. They want me to focus to reality and go to college and get a high college degree just like any youth nowadays. I just dont know what to do. I had tried explaining it to them in the best and proper way I can but still no effect. Well In Shaa Allah Allah (Aza Wa Jal) will help me with my problems. I'm still a practicing Muslim so I do have ups and downs but tryin my best to be a good slave of Allah (Aza Wa Jal) :).

Welcome to TTI Sister, in sha Allah you will find a lot of good materials on the website for increasing your knowledge and iman. Your parents may just need some time, to get used to the idea of you studying this great deen of ours, but also they may be thinking of their own places in Islam in a new way.

Dear sister try your best to be a good daughter as Allah subhanahu wa taala wants you to be show your parents the bright sides of Islam and pray with the whole of your heart ,........
