Hi, my name is frida, I live in USA. I am from Indonesia and born as a muslim, eventhough I was born as a muslim, I don't know too much about Islam, but I am willing to know more about Islam. I married with christian man. Actually we were married as a muslim, but he's back to his religion. I have two kids now. I am hoping that someday my husband would find the truth about islam.

Sigh, my name is fadila
I'm from Indonesia, Jakarta

I've heard many stories like this one from my sheikh, islamic media. As a part of global christianisation, young christian male encourage to marry muslim women, before the marriage takes place he will subject to the condition by her family if he want to marry their daughter he must convert to islam first. After this couple have children then the husband will back to his own religion, if his wife doesnt follow him then he will threaten to divorce her.

I read this from muslim media in Indonesia, and of my mother friend who convert to christianity have similiar story

Dear sister frida fear Allah, dont fear your husband, your husband can not protect you in the day of judgement. Only Allah the most might and merciful can protect you.

"With the help of Allah. He helps whom He will, and He is exalted in might, most merciful.", (It is) the promise of Allah. Never does Allah depart from His promise: but most men understand not"
Ar-Rum(30):5-6

I am sure if you are interested to know more about islam , you will learn a lot about islam here. I believe it is important first for you to learn about islam so that you can then present this only truth- Islam , to your husband in a good way.

I pray that Allah makes your path easier and helps you in every good intention.

asalamu alaykum. dear sister welcome and i'd like to ask you, you are a muslim woman- why are you still with a man who disbelieves in allah. don't you know that you cannot be married to a non muslim man? subhanallah. i hope you'll see the truth. it is truly sad to hear that you are married to a non muslim man. subhanallah.
if your husband already knows islam then just let him go. but you must think of the future of your children. do u want them to grow up christian? the prophet pbuh made his daughter zaynab divorce her husband when he refused to enter islam because allah has told us that a non believing man cannot marry a believing woman. my heart aches for the future of your children. so if your husband refuses to enter islam- then let him go for the sake of allah. for your sake, and for the sake of your children. salam

assalamualaikum, thank you all for your comments

I know that muslim woman can't married non-muslim man, but I can't leave him. There is alot of situation that I have to think about.

Alhamdulillah I teach my kids in islam way, we do pray 5 times a day and my husband respect that, he never complained about it. In fact, sometime he reminds us to pray if the prayer time comes.

We never celebrate christian day, but we do celebrate muslim day.

I do believe that someday my husband will see the truth of islam.

wassalam
