Woman speaks only qur'an
Abdullah bin mubark ( a righteous man ) said :
One year I went for pilgrimage (haj) and while traveling on the road I saw something black , as I came closer there was an old woman , I said (alsslam alikm warahmat allah wabrakath )
Then she said : (سَلَامٌ قَوْلاً مِن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ )
36.58": Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord.
I said : may GOD (allah ) mercy be with you, what are you doing here in the middle of no where ?
She said : (مَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَلاَ هَادِيَ لَهُ وَيَذَرُهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ)
7.186": Whomsoever Allah causes to err, there is no guide for him; and He leaves them alone in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
I realized that she got lost , I said : where is your destination ?
She said :
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى) )
"17.1": Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts,
I knew that she just finished conducting pilgrimage and I she going toward Jerusalem ( qudus in palastine )
I said : for how may days you been here ?
She said : (قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ سَوِيّاً )
19.10": He said: My Lord! give me a sign. He said: Your sign is that you will not be able to speak to the people three nights while in sound health.
I said :I can see that you don't have food ?
She said : (وَالَّذِي هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِ)
26.79": And He Who gives me to eat and gives me to drink:
I said : how you conduct ablution (wudu') as you don't have water ?
She replied : فَلَمْ تَجِدُواْ مَاء فَتَيَمَّمُواْ صَعِيداً طَيِّباً) )
4.43": …. and you cannot find water, betake yourselves to pure earth, then wipe your faces and your hands; surely Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving.
I said : I have some food , would you like to eat ?
She said : ِ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّواْ الصِّيَامَ إِلَى الَّليْلِ))
2.187….., then complete the fast till night,
I said : this is not Ramadan( month of fasting )
She said : وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْراً فَإِنَّ اللّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ))
"2.158": and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing.
: I said : we are permitted to breakfast while in travel even in Ramadan.
She said : وَأَن تَصُومُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ))
2.184": …… and that you fast is better for you if you know.
I said :why don't talk to me straight forward ?
She said : مَا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ ))
50.18": He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand.
I said : from what tribe are you ?
She said : وَلاَ تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ) )
17.36": And follow not that of which you have not the knowledge;
I said : forgive my mistake
She said : {قَالَ لاَ تَثْرَيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ يَغْفِرُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ )
12.92": He said: (There shall be) no reproof against you this day; Allah may forgive you, and He is the most Merciful of the merciful.
I said : would you like to ride my camel to catch up with the your camel convoy ?
She said : (ِّ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْلَمْهُ اللّهُ وَتَزَوَّدُواْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الزَّادِ التَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُونِ يَا أُوْلِي الأَلْبَابِ )
2.197": and whatever good you do, Allah knows it; and make provision, for surely the provision is the guarding of oneself, and be careful (of your duty) to Me, O men of understanding.
Then I downed my camel so she can ride over .
She said : {قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَلِكَ أَزْكَى لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ }
24.30": Say to the believing men that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts; that is purer for them; surely Allah is Aware of what they do.
So I cast my sight down and while she is ridding
She said : (وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِن كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولاً }
17.108": And they say: Glory be to our Lord! most surely the promise of our Lord was to be fulfilled.
Then I speeded my walking as I lead the camel
She said : {وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ )
31.19": And pursue the right course in your going about and lower your voice; surely the most hateful of voices is braying of the asses.
So I slowed down and began to read some poems ( this habit used to help travelers crossing far distances )
She said : َ فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ
"73.20": therefore read what is easy of the Quran.
I said : you are so blessed ( as all her talking are verses of qur'an )
She said : ًَ( وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أُوْلُواْ الأَلْبَابِ }
"2.269": He grants wisdom to whom He pleases, and whoever is granted wisdom, he indeed is given a great good and none but men of understanding mind.
While walking I asked her : are you married ?
She said : {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَسْأَلُواْ عَنْ أَشْيَاء إِن تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِن تَسْأَلُواْ عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْآنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهَا وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
"5.101": O you who believe! do not put questions about things which if declared to you may trouble you, and if you question about them when the Quran is being revealed, they shall be declared to you; Allah pardons this, and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing
Then we reached the convoy she belongs to and I said :who do you have in this convoy ( as she must had a male relative (muhram ) )?
She said : {الْمَالُ وَالْبَنُونَ زِينَةُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَاباً وَخَيْرٌ أَمَلاً )
18.46": Wealth and children are an adornment of the life of this world; and the ever-abiding, the good works, are better with your Lord in reward and better in expectation.
So I knew she had some sons in convoy .
I asked : what their job in convoy ?
She said : عَلامَاتٍ وَبِالنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ })
16.16": And landmarks; and by the stars they find the right way
I said : how can I find them ?
She said {يَا يَحْيَى خُذِ الْكِتَابَ بِقُوَّةٍ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحُكْمَ صَبِيّاً )
"19.12": O Yahya! take hold of the Book with strength, and We granted him wisdom while yet a child
وَاتَّخَذَ اللّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلاً }النساء125
"4.125": ….. and Allah took Ibrahim as a friend.
َ(َ وَكَلَّمَ اللّهُ مُوسَى تَكْلِيماً }النساء164
"4.164": …. and to Musa, Allah addressed His Word, speaking (to him):
So I shouted out : O , musa , irahim . yahya ( named after prophets )
And as I finished , three young men came and hugged their mother , then she told them :
(فَابْعَثُوا أَحَدَكُم بِوَرِقِكُمْ هَذِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَنظُرْ أَيُّهَا أَزْكَى طَعَاماً فَلْيَأْتِكُم بِرِزْقٍ مِّنْهُ ً )
18.19": …. Now send one of you with this silver (coin) of yours to the city, then let him see which of them has purest food, so let him bring you provision from it,
One of them went and brought some food and then
She said : {كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئاً بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ )
69.24": Eat and drink pleasantly for what you did beforehand in the days gone by.
I said : now , I swear to GOD (allah) not to eat until you tell me what is with your mother ??
They said :since forty years our mother just talking with verses from qur'an fearing she might talk wrongly .
I said : (ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ )
"5.54": …. this is Allah's Face, He gives it to whom He pleases, and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.
