Assalamu Alaikum:

Ramadan-2011 is just few days away. It again reminds me of mercy and compassion of Allah (SWT) that showered me in the year 2006.

I remember it was 16 or 17 september 2006,when I received an Email from an Egyptian woman though we were mutually unfamiliar. The mail was about answering a set of questions as to what type of Quranic translations do the readers in English prefer. The Egyptian woman who sent me this Email was through her Ph.d in Quranic translations.

I had been using internet for a long time much before 2006. But due to a payment conflict between me and internet service provider,I discontinued the internet service for a few months. It was just some days ahead of the receiving Email of the Egyptian woman that my inernet connection was restored.

Much before 2006 my faith in Deen of Allah was established except that I was not able to enter Islam encompassed with different fears. On a few days interaction with the Egyptian woman she was able to generate enough boldness in me that I finally decided to revert during Ramadan 2006.

I don't know had Allah (SWT) not sent this Egyptian lady as a motivator for me how long would I have stayed at the door steps of Deen of Allah.

It is still a mystery for me and the Egyptian lady how come did I get her Email,while even she did not have my ID.

The Egyptian lady is my respected elder sister in faith. She is now a days ceaselessly working guiding lots of ignorants to Islam.
