Before you do an action DO YOU...

Assalam alakum

I wonder how others act upon this;

Before you do a ''good'' action, do you think too much over it ?

Like, you wanna share an islamic video, but before doing it, you stop and think; ''hmmm...am i doing it for sake of Allah ? Am i doing it just for goodness of people ? Or am i doing it without any purpose, just to share ?''

Do you think, if you stop and think too much, it might be because of sheitan, so that he will tell you ''noo you dont do it for sake of Allah, so better leave it'' or do you think whatever this voice is in your mind, it might be true that you really should do actionls ONLY when you feel like, you do it to gain love of Allah ?

Walaikum Ssalaam warahmathullahi wabarakaatuh,

Ramlaan Kareem to you Brother. Hope you are doing better...

Every human faces this dilemma often I feel. Its the inner struggle in my opinion....

Here is an anology. Think there is a reporter. And there is a situation. What would reported do. Switch on the camera?

Now lets say the situation if not fixed has all signs of becoming a life hurtning or life threatening crisis for the person injured. Would one still continue to record ? which takes priority? Quickly act, apply common sense and do the best to fix the situation??

Another situation:
There is a competition. An opportunity. You know you can do well in it. So what do you do think a lot or grab the opportunity. Yes after winning you might feel self esteem , of healthy kind. Or you might take it a bit far and feel aloof or arrogant or egoistic, but thats all later. It can be controlled, but not the opportunity, right?

Same here, you intend to do good, There are million others who can do the same thing. Intention is to first do and make use of the opportunity. Based on how pure the intent is the reward would magnify. The mind can switch its decision. By the time you decide, some one else might do it and you would loose your easy opportunity. The mind could be influenced by the whispers of Shaytaan. The ego could make one feel pride or arrogant etc . Now thats all later. First do the good that you wanted to do. You can later handle the whispers of shaytaan and ego boost.

Hope this helps.
