Birthday Question

I have a question pertaining to birthdays, my son will be 2 on Thursday..where did the time go?? His Grandparents want to throw him a little b-day party at their house on Saturday, seeing as he is 2 all he knows is he is going to the Grandparents, chasing the dog and getting spoiled by Grandma. Should I tell them no to the party since it will be just them and my husband and son.

On another note I must thank Allah for giving me such a wonderful boy with great health. He has only been sick twice in 2 years and is such a joy to be around..normally. I ask Allah every day for his blessings on William and he has showered them on my son.

sister,you're very blessed!when my daughter turned to 3 years old my mum wanted to prepare for her a cake for her birthday.I told her not to do it because we muslims don't celebrate birthdays with so much importance,but if she wanted,she could bring to my daughter a present or bake a cake with no name written over it and with no candle in another day.my mum was a little disappointed but she respected my request.just be delicate and sincere.May Allah bless you and your son
