Bodies of woman, child found in Jeddah trash can
JEDDAH: Police in Jeddah found the body of a woman and a child in a garbage container near Aziz Mall early Saturday morning. Police were called by the man who discovered them and went to the location with a forensic team to examine the bodies and gather evidence.
They were able to determine that the woman was in her 30s and the child, a girl, was about 19 months old. Police did not find any signs of violence on either body.
It is possible that they were denied treatment in hospitals because of their illegal status and that their relatives were forced to dump their bodies into the garbage container.
In an unrelated incident, police in Makkah found a decomposed body of an unknown person in Al-Kudwah district late last week, Al-Madinah reported on Saturday. Police and a forensics team moved to the location and gathered evidence to help identify the body and the circumstances that led to the death.
