Like he say. Fitnah is only in a mans mind. If you dont want it, dont see it. Be a man, and look down. And dont care. See a woman like you see your mother, your sister or any other man. Like someone. Nothing special. :D

Like sis UMMOF3 I will vote for my hubby as well.

He was already married, he said shahada roughly 3 months before I did so I will put it in the less than 3months for now. I hope that's ok. That's what I did for me.

Yes... And so far the numbers indicate that male reverts find it harder to find a partner than female ones.

Gosh! I wonder why that is?

A'salaam alaikum

I am still learning anyway, albeit that I still find it all a bit confusing.

I have a scary email from someone "Offering?" themselves in marriage? I do not understand what this means or even if it is the "Norm".

Have no idea what to do about it so I'm in hiding. Besides I cannot see myself flying off to Egypt at the moment, even though my daughter says "Let's Go"

W-Salam,

Stay Away Bro!

Shortly after my dad passed away...

I went to Pakistan when I was 21 & found that I was ENGAGED...First I thought that this was a joke but when the girl in question kept taggin along with me; I got alarmed but still not much

Then I was forced to take her out on a mini-date & conversation started to get really colourful so I knew something was up!

I complained to my mother and others in the family; my mother was thoroughly vetoed so in the end she said, "Fine...You know his temper...get his Nikah (marriage) done and deal with the consequences yourself...And if harms her; don't come to me for help!"

Everyone backed off and I came back single!

She is married, I am married and we (me, her & her husband) get along absolutely great!
