Several Children Kidnapped

Palestinian human rights groups have reported that a detained Palestinian child from Jerusalem was seriously injured during interrogation at an Israeli interrogation center in Salah Ed-Deen Street, in the occupied city.

The WAFA News Agency said the child, Khader al-‘Ajlouni, 16 years of age, was pushed down a flight of stairs at the police station, and suffered serious injuries to his neck, arms and back.

It added that the child was transferred to a hospital in the city after becoming unable to move one of his arms and one of his legs.

Also in Jerusalem, small groups of Israeli extremists invaded the yards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque through the al-Magharba Gate, under heavy Israeli military presence.

Late on Tuesday at night, Israeli soldiers invaded a number of homes in the occupied city, and kidnapped several children, before taking them to an interrogation facility.

Dozens School Children Injured In Jerusalem

Palestinian medical sources have reported that dozens of children have been injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers, near the Shu’fat refugee camp, and ‘Anata town, northeast of occupied East Jerusalem.

Local sources said dozens of soldiers and undercover units of the Israeli military, tried to invade the Shu’fat refugee camp, but were met by dozens of Palestinian protesters who hurled stones and empty bottles at them, forcing them to retreat to the entrance of the camp.

The soldiers fired gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at the protesters, and into a local school; more than 35 children, between the ages of 7-12, suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

In addition, a Palestinian teen was shot by a rubber-coated metal bullet in his leg, and another in his thigh, and received treatment by local medics as their conditions did not require hospitalization.

The school then phoned the families, asking them to come and pick up their children to avoid further injuries.

Clashes also took place near the Anata roadblock, while the soldiers also stopped and searched dozens of cars, and fired rounds of live ammunition, gas bombs and concussion grenades hitting an electricity pole causing power blackout in the area.

In addition, a number of youths hurled stones and a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli settler’s car near the Hezma roadblock, north of Jerusalem, causing no damage or injuries according to Israeli sources.

The settler fired rounds of live ammunition, and fled the scene.

Palestinian Seriously Wounded By Settlers Fire Near Ramallah

Several Palestinians injured as settlers attempted to invade a school in ‘Orif nearby village

Medical sources have reported, Tuesday, that a Palestinian teen was shot, and moderately injured by a live round, fired by an Israeli settler near Beiteen village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah. Settlers attack homes in Burin and Huwwara, near Nablus.

Medical sources in Ramallah said Ibrahim Daraghma, 19 years of age, suffered a gunshot injury to his jaw, and was moved to the Palestine Medical Center, in Ramallah.

He was shot after a number of settlers opened fire at Palestinians close to settlement bypass road #60, near the village, before dozens of soldiers invaded the area, leading to clashes with local youths.

In related news, a number of armed Israeli settlers attacked several homes at the main entrances of Burin village, and Huwwara town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Local sources said the settlers invaded at least three homes, and managed to destroy the furniture of one of them, before a number of youths of the unarmed Popular Guards Committee forced them out of the village.

The home that sustained the most damage belongs to resident Ghaleb Najjar, while the homes of Atallah Abu Sufian and Marwan Najjar, sustained lesser property damage.

Spokesperson of the Fateh Movement in Huwwara village Awad Najm stated the settlers attacked the home of Salah Shawkat, close to the Huwwara Israeli military roadblock.

Najm added that Israeli soldiers also invaded the village, and violently closed its shops and stores.

A number of settlers also hurled stones at Palestinian cars, near the Yitzhar illegal settlement, built on Palestinian lands, south of Nablus, causing property damage but no injuries.

Settlers also closed the Huwwara roadblock from both directions, and prevented the Palestinians from crossing while the soldiers did not attempt to remove the settlers.

Earlier on Tuesday, several extremist settlers surrounded an elementary school in ‘Orif village near Nablus, and tried to invade it before throwing stones and bottles into the school, an issue that led to clashes between the residents and the invading settlers.

Soldiers arrived at the scene and clashed with the residents before firing gas bombs into the school, causing dozens of injuries among the students, teachers and medics who rushed to the scene.

The soldiers also invaded classrooms and violently searched them causing excessive property damage.

Soldiers Invade Hebron And Beit Ummar

Several Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and Beit Ummar nearby town, broke into and searched homes, and installed roadblocks.

Mohammad Awad, spokesperson of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Beit Ummar, stated that the soldiers invaded the Beit Za’ta area, east of the town, violently searched and ransacked several homes.

The invaded homes belong to residents Fayez Mohammad Sabarna, his brothers Hussein and Abdul-Qader, Monther Hasan Sabarna, ‘Ala Odeh Sabarna, Thiab Hamed Sabarna, Ibrahim Odah Sabarna, and Fayez Ahmad Sabarna. The soldiers also took pictures of the invaded homes, and the families.

On Tuesday at night, soldiers invaded the home of Amer Abu Aisha and Marwan al-Qawasmi, and searched the properties causing excessive damage. The two were killed by the army in September.

Soldiers also installed roadblocks at the entrance of Beit Ummar town, and the western entrance of Doura town, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated the passengers while inspecting their ID cards.

In related news, soldiers invaded Um al-Kheir Bedouin village, east of Yatta town, south of Hebron, and handed orders for the destruction of eight tents and residential structures.

Rateb Jabour, spokesperson of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in southern Hebron, said that members of the al-Hathaleen family were ordered to remove their tents, and tin structures, used for residence, and a number of tin barns.

The structures belong to Abdullah, Keirallah, Amna, Odai, Aziz, Ammar and Eeda al-Hathaleen.

Sexual Abuse Against Palestinian Child Detainees Reported

At least 600 Palestinian children were arrested in Jerusalem since last June. Of these chlidren, nearly 40% were reportedly exposed to sexual abuse during arrest or investigation by the Israeli authorities, according to a report by the Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC).

The PCC says that the daily arrest campaigns constitute a collective punishment against Palestinian residents of Jerusalem.

Attorney with the PCC, Mufeed al-Haj, said that other violations were reported during the apprehension of children, including but not limited to night and predawn raids on family homes, physical and sexual abuse.

According to WAFA, Al-Haj added that, under the applicable laws, minors undergoing investigation should be accompanied by their parents, yet Israeli authorities pay no respect to these laws in many cases.

Forces often ignore laws and arrest Palestinians without even having warrants.

Since last June, Israel has arrested hundreds of Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank, most during predawn and night raids on their family houses.

Settlers Attack Taxi Driver In Jerusalem

Palestinian medical sources have reported that an infant, three months of age, suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, after dozens of soldiers invaded Beit Leqia village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and fired gas bombs at a number of homes.

The sources said the infant, Hanan Dar Mousa, was moved to a local hospital in Ramallah, suffering a moderate injury.

Eyewitnesses said several armored military vehicles invaded the village, and fired gas bombs at a number of homes.

The invasion led to clashes between the soldiers and dozens of local youths, who hurled stones at them.

In occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli police apprehended four young female settlers who sprayed two Palestinian taxi drivers with tear gas.

The Police said the attack took place in King George Street, and that the four assailants have been apprehended while carrying the tear gas cans, and were moved to an interrogation center.

The four settlers are from the Yitzhar Israeli settlement, illegally built on Palestinian lands near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

In related news, two Palestinians have been shot and injured By Israeli Army Fire in Deir al-Hatab village, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Eyewitnesses said several military vehicles invaded the village, and that clashes took place between the invading soldiers and local youths.
