Answer: shia's and sunni's aren't that much devided, but christians are.. some worship jesus, others dont, some worship mary, others dont, so they have diffrent Gods.. thats diffrent religions.. but shia's and sunnis worship ONE GOD = ALLAH
We follow the same book.. we just differ a little bit on the hadiths!

I think this is silly- watch the facts:

World Christians 33.32% (of which Roman Catholics 16.99%, Protestants 5.78%, Orthodox 3.53%, Anglicans 1.25%), Muslims 21.01%, Hindus 13.26%, Buddhists 5.84%, Sikhs 0.35%, Jews 0.23%, Baha'is 0.12%, other religions 11.78%, non-religious 11.77%, atheists 2.32% (2007 est.)

I dont mean this in a bad way, but those separate numbers of Catholics, Protestants, Ortodox, etc all say they are a part of "Christianity" so together it's on top. However if we were to take the Muslims and split them - Shia, Nation of Islam etc who arent really in the correct, altogether our numbers would be reduced as well.

So I think numbers are pointless, it's true Muslims who count and spreading our Deen towards that.

They did't mentioned the shijja "muslims" in that contest muslims. I know that for the fact. It's only sunni muslims. But, If you want to set all them together, i'm sure the number will raise up again in our favor. But still as i said before: " Quality not Quantity" is the one that's couning."

the numbers of the amounts of muslims in the world are impressive, but there is so much disunity amongst us these days that the numbers sadly become irrelevant. i don't mean to seem gloomy, but it's true. we need to bring the brotherhood that takes place during hajj and the two EIDS to not only take place then but we need to bring it to our homes, masjid, and the greater community and ummah at large.
