Prophet (salallahu 'alyhi wasallam) used to say,"It will be said to the reciter of the Qur'aan (on the Day of Judgment), 'Recite and ascend; recite slowly and rhythmically as you used to do in the previous world; your place will be at the last aayah you recite."
Abu Daawood and at-Tirmidhee, who declared it saheeh

I hope this post finds you in the best of health and iman insha'Allah.
We all come to this world alone and we all leave it alone.
All along our lives we are faced with calamities and blessings.It's not a bed of roses nor of thorns but a mixture of both.Sometimes we are faced with afflictions,others blessings .We can never make it on our own.
We need a companion to get us through them.Some of us get lost along the way,for our companions abandon us and we get lost in the way.
And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.[43:36] Surah Az Zukhruf
When we make Qur'an our companion,it will always lead us to the straight path for it is a not just a book but a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.It will always keep us in the light away from darkness. and be the comfort of our hearts in our hard times.It will be the healer of our hearts when we are hurt and a cure to our anxiety when we are anxious.A banisher of our sorrows when we are depressed. It gives life to our hearts.
If we hold onto it till death it will not abandon as well.In the hereafter it will be the one increasing our ranks as I quoted in the hadith earlier.
What better companion can one ask for?
