Could an American President if he was sincere convert/revert and embrace Islam ?

As Salaam Alaikum I have a question and topic that I am curious about my question is Could an American President if he was sincere convert/revert and embrace Islam ? Did'nt Prophet Moses peace and blessings be upon him invite Pharaoh to Islam the Pharaoh commited many sins and or crimes and killings correct but the offer was there ? Also Umar bin al Khattab did try to kill/murder the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him before he converted correct also Khalid Bin Waleed did try to do this too and killed Muslims in Battles correct ? Also Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him did send letters to Heads of States to invite them to Islam correct ? What Im asking is if President Obama George Bush or Bill Clinton Jimmy Carter or George H. Bush converted/reverted did embrace Islam would their past sins and crimes be forgiven ? I know in Sharia there is blood money or punishment for murder I know many say the American Presidents killed Muslims but could they still embrace Islam ? I ask because I have read many articles with Muslims inviting Western Leaders to Islam also I do hate the evil actions of many Western Politicans but I believe people can have a change of heart thank you ?

The Daily Caller: What are you planning on doing while you’re here?
Anjem Choudary: Well basically what we intend to do is invite Barack Obama and the American administration and the general public to think about Islam as an alternative really, we believe that the problems in the world today aren’t necessarily because of people that [inaudible] and they need to go back to the divine law and so ours is a call to go back to the divine law and implement Islam.


TheDC: Do you consider the United States President Barack Obama an apostate since he was born to a Muslim father but is himself a Christian?
AC: No, I don’t think that. Every person is born from an natural disposition, and the mother and father will make him into a Christian. So, I do believe that we are all born as Muslims, and, as we mature, we make decisions. And, some of us, obviously, do not accept Islam. Your choices make you whoever you turn out to be. So, I do not believe he is an apostate, and, like everyone, was born with the natural disposition of Islam. If someone dies as a child, they go to heaven. But, as an adult, he made a choice of accepting Christianity, so, that’s not apostacy. If he was a Muslim as an adult, then changed, that would be apostacy.


TheDC: Do you think he [Obama] should convert to Islam?
AC: Well, you know, the potential is there. The prophet always invited everyone. Even though I do believe that Obama is at war with Islam, it is never too late to embrace Islam. If we were to establish Sharia in America, he would have to stand before Sharia court and pay for the crimes that he committed. The invitation is there for him to give up all of his falsehoods and all of the crimes that he has committed and to embrace Islam.

It is said that the sins are forgiven akhi. [But please do check the authenticity of the hadith.]

(8:38) [O Prophet!] Tell the unbelievers that if they desist from evil, their past shall be forgiven and if they revert to their past ways, then it is well known what happened with the people of the past.

Muslim :: Book 1 : Hadith 220

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Shamasa Mahri that he said: We went to Amr b. al-As and he was about to die. He wept for a long time and turned his face towards the wall. His son said: Did the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him not give you tidings of this? Did the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) not give you tidings of this? He (the narrator) said: He turned his face (towards the audience) and said: The best thing which we can count upon is the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah. Verily I have passed through three phases. (The first one) in which I found myself averse to none else more than I was averse to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) and there was no other desire stronger in me than the one that I should overpower him and kill him. Had I died in this state, I would have been definitely one of the denizens of Fire. When Allah instilled the love of Islam in my heart, I came to the Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Stretch out your right hand so that may pledge my allegiance to you. He stretched out his right hand, I withdrew my hand, He (the Holy Prophet) said: What has happened to you, O 'Amr? replied: I intend to lay down some condition. He asked: What condition do you intend to put forward? I said: should be granted pardon. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Are you not aware of the fact that Islam wipes out all the previous (misdeeds)? Verily migration wipes out all the previous (misdeeds), and verily the pilgrimage wipes out all the (previous) misdeeds. And then no one as or dear to me than the Messenger of Allah and none was more sublime in my eyes than he, Never could I, pluck courage to catch a full glimpse of his face due to its splendour. So if I am asked to describe his features, I cannot do that for I have not eyed him fully. Had I died in this state had every reason to hope that I would have bee among the dwellers of Paradise. Then we were responsible for certain things (in the light of which) I am unable to know what is in store for me. When I die, let neither female mourner nor fire accompany me. When you bury me, fill my grave well with earth, then stand around it for the time within which a camel is slaughtered and its meat is distributed so that I may enjoy your intimacy and (in your company) ascertain what answer I can give to the messengers (angels) of Allah.

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that the gate of repentance remains open so long at the death rattle has not reached a person’s throat. He (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah will accept His slave’s repentance so long as the death rattle has not yet reached his throat.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 3537; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1425.

All you have to do is to turn to Allaah, regret what you did and resolve not to do it again. Then receive the glad tidings of the bounty and mercy of Allaah, for Islam wipes out whatever sins came before it, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may Allaah be pleased with him): “O ‘Amr, do you not know that Islam wipes out whatever came before it.” Narrated by Muslim, 121; Ahmad, 17861.

Why can't they accept Islam. People accept Islam even on their death beds. You never know, when Allah SWT just says "BE" and opens the heart of men to the beauty of Islam.
