Creamy Spinach Pasta

    Here's an easy recipe for some delicious pasta:

    2 cups of macaroni, or penne, or your favourite pasta
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 teaspoon dried italian herbs
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil (or fresh if you can get it).
    chili flakes, to taste (1/4 tsp)
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1 cup milk
    1 cup heavy cream (or substitute with milk, if desired)
    2 tablespoons all purpose flour
    2 teaspoons garlic paste
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    2 cups chopped fresh spinach leaves
    1/3 cup mozzarella cheese.

    Boil the pasta in water with some salt and oil till al dente. Drain and wash with cold water. Set aside.

    Take some olive oil in a pan, and fry the onions till light brown. Add in the basil, italian herbs, garlic paste, chili flakes, all purpose flour and black pepper. Stir for a minute and then add in the milk/cream. Let the mixture come to a boil. Add in 1 chicken flavoured bouillon soup cube and dissolve completely. Next add in the spinach and cook for 5-6 minutes. Reduce the flame to low, and stir in the cheese. When melted, add in the cooked pasta and a little water and bring to a boil. Simmer few minutes. Serve hot.

    Note: No salt was added as the soup cube and cheese contained salt already. So be careful not to oversalt it.
