A world full of hate
A world full of mistreatment and disrespect. You try to ignore those who bother you but they're there everyday. You feel so hurt deep within and you try to smile... but deep within you feel like the "living dead".
Your Muslim brothers they hang their pant low around their ankles. When you're being teased they laughed at you, they don't try to step in to help you. All they care is that they fit in.
Your sisters are walking by you side by side, yet they gossip and make fun of you simply because you covered up your body. They tell you "Girl get a life, this is the modern world, we are way passed those days of oppression". I look at them in disbelief but what can I do, I am being pushed from both sides. Next thing you know we're off to our next class, Oh great the teacher wants you to partner up.
You look to your left, you look to your right...you stand there all alone eyeballed from head to toe. They walk away even the ones you've been so close to, all because of the way I am dressed. They all feel bad, they all feel sorry for you but one thing they don't know is that you are proud of being hated for who you are. You are proud that you can stand there and say "I am proud of the way Allah made me.
I am proud of wearing a hijab.
I am proud of being a Muslim.
I am proud that I have confidence in what Allah chose for me.
Alhamdulillah.
They don't know that I feel sympathy for them, for they've taken oppression to be freedom. They've taken evil to be good. They've exchanged their religion just to fit in with people who will never know who they really are. They will always be decieved by their own ignorance. They think that holding your boyfriends hand or your girlfriends hand is like being in heaven. They expose their bodies to strangers who really wish to grind them like food. They think they're better than US. They think we are oppressed. Boy am I glad i'm not them!! They will never know the truth, they've chosen to be DEAF, DUMB, AND BLIND JUST TO FIT IN WITH HUMANS WHO ARE AS EQUAL AS THEY. They've chosen to worship kids their age simply to be in the "cool crowd". Then when they are at an old age they look back and say "we were stupid then, we didn't know any better". Everyone has a mind and a heart. They know right from wrong yet they persever to do the wrong things over the right. Don't make excuses...even the youngest child knows his/her mother. You should be able to know right from wrong.
