Salam, sisters.
I know this recipes a lil unhealthy but it's gorgeous to have once in a while, inshallah.
You need:
Strips of chicken
1 egg mixed with a little milk to make egg wash
about a litre of cooking oil
Some already prepared breadcrumbs (you can buy this in jars from shops)
Chilli powder (according to taste)
Garlic powder (according to taste)
Salt and pepper
Tortilla wraps
Salad leaves (whichever you like, I adore iceberg with this)
Heat the oil in a large pan (I use a wok).
Mix the breadcrumbs with the chilli and garlic powder and season. Dip the chicken pieces one at a time into the egg wash and then into the breadcrumb mix, making sure each piece is well coated. Once the oil is hot add about 5 or 6 of the chicken pieces until cooked, drain and then lay on heated wraps, add salad leaves, a voila! The most delicious home cooked wraps ever, alhamdilah.
