Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
.
[

9:112] They are the repenters, the worshipers, the praisers, the meditators, the bowing and prostrating, the advocators of righteousness and forbidders of evil, and the keepers of GOD's laws. Give good news to such believers.

27:2] A beacon, and good news, for the believers.

[27:3] Who observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and they are, with regard to the Hereafter, absolutely certain.

[27:4] Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, we adorn their works in their eyes. Thus, they continue to blunder.

[27:5] It is these who incur the worst retribution, and in the Hereafter, they will be the worst losers.

[27:6] Surely, you are receiving the Quran from a Most Wise, Omniscient.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth
.

[7:100] Does it ever occur to those who inherit the earth after previous generations that, if we will, we can punish them for their sins, and seal their hearts, causing them to turn deaf?
[19:40] We are the ones who inherit the earth and everyone on it; to us everyone will be returned.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

[2:201] Others would say, "Our Lord, grant us righteousness in this world, and righteousness in the Hereafter, and spare us the retribution of Hell."

2:277] Those who believe and lead a righteous life, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), they receive their recompense from their Lord; they will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

[3:15] Say, "Let me inform you of a much better deal: for those who lead a righteous life, reserved at their Lord, are gardens with flowing streams, and pure spouses, and joy in GOD's blessings." GOD is Seer of His worshipers.

[3:110] You are the best community ever raised among the people:
you advocate righteousness and forbid evil,
and you believe in GOD.If the followers of the scripture believed, it would be better for them. Some of them do believe, but the majority of them are wicked

[4:128] If a woman senses oppression or desertion from her husband, the couple shall try to reconcile their differences, for conciliation is best for them. Selfishness is a human trait, and if you do good and lead a righteous life, GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.

Why does God refer to himself as "we" if he is alone?

Question. We already know Allah our lord is One. As in Surah al-Ikhlas 112:1-4. But why does Allah the Lord use the word “We” to refer to Himself in many verse or ayat in the Qur’an? For example He says in Surah al-Anbiya’ 21:107 “And We did not send you (O Muhammad) except as a mercy to the world.” The word “we” is plural, more than one. Why does Allah use “We” instead of “I” to refer to Himself? (Izani Mahayudin bin Abd Aziz, Malaysia)

Answer. The Qur’an says very clearly that there is only One God, Allah. “There is no god but Allah” is the basic principle of Islam. There is no ambiguity about this fact in the Qur’an and there are hundreds of ayat or verses of the Qur’an that make this point very clear. Belief in more than one God is Shirk (polytheism) and a major sin according to the Qur’an

This is a style of speech. Sometime the speaker says I and sometime says we. We also use that in our conversations. In the Qur’an you will see that often the first person singular such as I or My is used, when Allah speaks about His love, care and closeness and forgiveness for His servants. In a similar way the first person plural is often used when Allah speaks about His power, majesty, glory, great deeds or when He speaks about His anger and wrath for the sinners and criminals. (This is, of course, the general use. Sometime the reverse is also the case, depending on the context of the Surah

the use of WE (in arabic or urdu)is a royal form of usage having the air of majesty and power. sine i speak urdu have often heard politicians sa (in urdu) we were elected on 13 june. which is i was elaceted...

FINALLY MAY ALLAH HAVE MERCY ON ME AND FORGIVE ME FOR I M GOIG TO SLEEP.GOOD NIGHT

7:27] Subsequent to them, we sent our messengers. We sent Jesus the son of Mary, and we gave him the Injeel (Gospel), and we placed in the hearts of his followers kindness and mercy. But they invented hermitism which we never decreed for them. All we asked them to do was to uphold the commandments approved by GOD. But they did not uphold the message as they should have. Consequently, we gave those who believed among them their recompense, while many of them were wicked.
[THE VERSE BELOW IS SPECIALLY FOR JEWS AND CHRISTIANS THE DOUBLE REWARD IS FOR ADHERING TO PREVIOUS RELIGION TILL TRUTH DESCENDED GAIN IN FORM OF QURAN.AND EVEN SECOND TIME THEY ACCEPTED IT AS THE SAME LIGHT
[57:28] O you who believe, you shall reverence GOD and believe in His messenger. He will then grant you double the reward from His mercy, endow you with light to guide you, and forgive you. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. [57:29] Thus, the followers of previous scripture should know that they have not monopolized GOD's mercy and grace, and that all grace is in GOD's hand. He bestows it upon whomever He wills. GOD is Possessor of Infinite Grace. :SMILY252:

Why does God refer to himself as "we" if he is alone?

salam

In short the reason why Allah refers to himself as "we" is due to the nature of the semitic languages. For instance in Hebrew The word for Allah is Eloah but often in the bible in hebrew the world Elohim which a pluarized version of Eloah is used. Its not a pularity in number but of respect and sometimes many Christians easily forget that the religion is founded on a semetic language and wonder if their is more than one god. But its natural for us even to refer to ourselves as we, for instance in royal places the queen would say referring to herself when she is mad: " we are not amused"

Elohim is a royal plural and the "im" is the root for respect and majesty. Note when you pronounce Elohim in Arabic it sounds like " Alluhum" and and this is where the "we" comes from. Its not a plural of number but of respect..by the way this interesting part of the language is also present in my own language.

Salaam,

Although the exact words of the Beatitudes are not in the Holy Quran...the senitment is stronger. In Islam we are asked to act. Islam is not a passive faith. We are told over and over again to be firm in our faith. We are reminded that it is an act of charity to smile, to always be grateful regardless of our circumstances, and to remember our assisgned angels are busy writing down our deeds. Our Prophet (swas) always showed kindness and mercy to all creatures. We have choosen to fall in his footsteps to Allah subhana talla. It is Allah subhana talla that gives us our status in life and all the mercies: In HIs compassion He sent us a mercy in the form of the Prophet (swas) to teach us to love the creatures of Allah subhana talla becuase we are one.
