Dua for my friend and his family

:salam2: My friend is twelve, i have known him since i was 5 so 8 years now. His father commited suicide when my friend was born, left every thing behind and my friend has depression, and he is a devout atheist, he almost dosnt care about life or anything.

He has always been kind to me when my mother had a brain tumor and always could make me laugh. I became saddened for him today when i was reflecting. Can you please make Dua that he can find happiness and his spiritual health will increase? Or give me advise on how do to deal with him?

Just be kind, be patient and be a good friend always, and talk to him and guide him to do the right things, even if you think he does not listen to you.
In hard time, keep close to him.
