Alhamdhulillah my wife is 6 months pregnant. She is expecting our second child InshaAllah in August. Hope that someone can share some Duas that she can recite for easy pregnancy / delivery.
There is a custom common among some muslims here in Sri Lanka (has no place in Islam) where a special recitation is conducted by the female relatives of the pregnant lady during the seventh month of pregnancy. It is called Tala Fathiha or something like that. It is supposed to bless the mother and child. They recite something similar to what they do during mawlid. I know it is not from Sunnah to do this, but I was just curious to know if there are similar customs elsewhere among the muslims in the world. I strongly reject it, and hence educate people on the Sunnah alternative.
